I wasn't. I didnt notice. Merely pointing out that Squad numbers will change with or without new signings....
-
Do we need a new signing to discuss Squad numbers? Or will they be allocated with or without new signings?

Oops sorry Klur. But if you are really cn174 then shame on you for having 2 accounts. You'll get banned before you start if you aren't careful. 325335 Two different ones! One Clare and one Claire..... how confusing -

I don't think Kiwiwannabe (or Claire) would like to called a man! The names above have simply taken an interest is setting the ISA up, some of us may want to stand for election onto the formal committee when that time comes around, others do not. It is far from a closed shop and we certainly hope that more people want to be involved. We hadnt considered the issue of remuneration, I very much doubt that any post will be "salaried" and currently we do not have the resources to pay expenses. I would imagine that this will be the case for the foreseeable future. -

Switch is a single charge the retailer of around 25p, depending on volume of course. The notices in shops are a bit of a scam. They set up a card handling subsidiary who they give 2.5% of your total shopping bill to if you pay by card. This means they dont have to pay VAT on that 2.5% of your bill. Not much per customer (average weekly shop of £100 they would save around 50p, but multiply that by the millions of customers every day....) My point is that on a small volume transaction there is no charge, in fact most retailers dont make a charge for this. I would be interested in the justification. Makes more sense with credit cards as that is a percentage of the transaction, but debit is a single fee. -

That looks lower than when I looked into it, so I stand corrected. Still cheaper to pay cash. The £5 charge for paying by switch annoyed me as well! On principle I disappeared off to find the nearest free cash machine on friday. Why could I spend £70 in the shop for no charge, yet get charged a fiver for the pleasure of spending over £400? The charge to the retailer was exactly the same. Isnt the claim your own seat deadline the 25th? -

Cole was bought to score goals and if you look at it in that context yes he did very little but being told to run the channels, which isn't his game, he worked his socks off and played very well indeed for me the season he left. I'd welcome him back with open arms although I fear many won't as he's past his best. 323712 Must be different from over our side of the BBE Gav!! -

I disagree, and I sit in the Blackburn End. As has been said, the reception he got at that last home game said more than words ever could. -

Is traffic bad round Ewood? I mean worse than any other ground? I get the 10 miles from Leyland every matchday in around 15 minutes to my parking spot on the Livesey Branch. I dont think thats bad. Course there is gonna be traffic, look at Old Trafford, dual carraigeways every way away from the ground yet its hundreds of timnes worse that Ewood (and yes I know there is more people) -

Totally agree sir, Why not offer ST's for purchase that early, give a £20 discount on the price. Lets face it £20 isnt much to the club, but having a good amount of cash in early and the possibility of a small number of additionals. (Its surprising what a difference a relatively small incetive can make). -
First and last game of every season for me, plus a trip to Bolton or somewhere instead. Much preferable.

My bank manager has declined my request for a small overdraft extension to facilitate season ticket purchase. Only got enough cash for one of us. Me or her? -

I think this is an excellent game, go to swansea for the weekend and sample the sights. 321834 I was inclined to agree Jordan, until I remembered that my friend had rather selfishly agreed to get married on that date. (Still better then than first day of the season....) -

They have to charge the same. So as away fans are now in the South Stand it is likely the will be charged the same as the home fans in the North Stand (the same way Rovers charge the Darwen End the same as the Blackburn End. So it will be £22 for ADults and £10 for under 16's for a category A game. Incidentally tickets for the equivalent game at Ewood would be £30 for Adults and £12 for kids. -

Preston are taking 33000 tomorrow. 319381 [pedantic mode] They only got 31000 tickets [/pedantic mode] And if rumours are to be believed a good number of them are West Ham fans (and certainly most of them are day trippers (I know Coca Cola also got a lot of tickets to give to hangers on in the North End area - like me!) -

Most tickets were £48 for that! And bear in mind Southend had to fork out a similar amount for the LDV final in the same venue only 6 weeks ago. They took less than 5,000.
