  1. Who owns an Everton shirt?
  2. im all for that Gav. But talking out of his rectum does him no favours. The rates he quotes for Wigan have no relevance to us (not to any other GMP team - but that really doesnt have any relevance). This whole thread has got dull.
  3. Cos he has a ban? For being a ######?
  4. considering a constable was earning over £150 a day(roughly 6 hours) for doing the football over a decade ago i'm presuming these hourly rates aren't far of the mark.Either that or dave whelan has a right to be upset at the massive profits the police are making on their policing prices! So you seriously think that your average everyday Joe Policeman i earning a salary of £85,000? I can only presume that you are either stupid, ignorant, or a combination of both. The highest constable salary under Lancashire Police is about £29k and thats after 14 years. Starting rate is £18k. And based on a £150 per day, on a 5 day week equates to a salary of £39k - once again you are talking crap.
  5. and who can blame them for milking it with hourly rates like this plus the possibility of seeing a free game of footy and with a bit of luck the chance to clout someone with a stick without fear of reprisals. Chief Inspector £61.08 per hour Inspectors £55.98 per hour Sergeants £55.98 per hour Constables £46.23 per hour Mounted Constables £75.05 per hour Dog Handler Constables £65.81 per hour can anyone point me in the direction of a good horse riding school Oh dear, someone has seen the Wigan debacle and think that what GMP are charging is what police get paid. I can guarantee that there isnt a constable (well, perhaps a chief one) is this country that earns £85,000 (46.23*35*52)
  6. Really? It was 28,691 against Burnley, yet it was 29,271 for when Newcastle came down to Ewood on Boxing Day. So it wasn't the biggest crowd of the season for when you came. erm....you sold out against Burnley (so you say)....but not against the Geordies..... Thanks for the hospitality Blackburn....a good days drinking in relaxed surroundings..... a free run around town.... Oh, congratulations on the result, its been an entertaining couple of weeks....... all the best in the next round But we didnt have stupid amounts of segregation against Newcaste. We sold all available tickets for Burnley, however in terms of actual people through turnstiles there were more for Newcastle. Is that really so hard to understand?
  7. and them oldies.... Whatever it is we get 42.5% of the 'profit'
  8. Think you are being a tad generous on the net receipts i made it £580k if all the tickets were 20 - they arent.
  9. They have been incredibly chilled since earlier in the season havnt they? I sometimes think people whinge for the sake of it.
  10. Odds on Savage being captain?
  11. Dan, If I was sat in my season ticket seats I'd be right behind you. But I'm not, I'm in the press box. Stu, I'm not aware of any restricted views at all, although obviously the views in the corners aren't too hot. Burnley Official was reporting they have been given restricted view seats. I didnt think there were any.
  12. Out of interest Lee, other than the riverside where are the restricted view seats in the three 'new' stands?
  13. Do you need the card to collect the tickets?
  14. How old are you? Can one of you pretend
  15. What you reckon my chances are of getting 2 in the top tier, not necesarily together, but one behind the other etc. Dan remember the criteria for up there regarding juniors and the like
  16. This is the rumour thats been circulating all weekend cos the dingles started selling tickets again briefly on Saturday morning. The seats they were selling were Darwen End Upper tier.
  17. How does it make a mockery of Rovers? Rovers have niothing to do wioth selling tickets in the Burnley End? Christ blme the TO staff for sdome thigns - but Burnley tickets are Burnleys responsibility.
  18. Some of us have been singign that for months dan. Just no other bugger joins in!
  19. 8 FOOT OF SNOW. NO CHANCE.
  20. Or they found another shoe box stuffed full of them!!
  21. Closer to 30,000 'capacity' Around 1500 seats (presuming 1000) in the Darwen End. Id be surprised if we dont sell out at some point tomorrow.
  22. They werent really 'estimates' the info was supplied by an employee of Blackburn Rovers. The tickets left in No1 will be ST holders who havnt bought tickets for this game for whatever reason.
  23. Logistical nightmare and impossible to put into place at this late stage. On the contrary its a great idea. They did it at the Everton v United game a few weeks ago - some of the empty seats were set aside and if any away fans were identified they were moved into it. Of course it was never announced - simply because it is inviting trouble.
  24. Of course we dont actually know how many extra seats there are in the Darwen End unsold. It certainly isnt 1000. Maybe 300, maybe none. The details all say approximately. We know that the Riverside has 5000 seats, we presume the ends have 8000 each. Thats 21,000 already. Does the JW stand only have 2000 seats more than the ends? who knows, its all conjecture.
