  1. Blackpool_rover.... check your pm's
  2. Waggy see above.... I have emailed the club and it will be interesting to see if they take note......
  3. Being my normal interfering self what i did do earlier this evening was send an email to the ticket office manager, saying that ST holders especially were getting frustrated with not being able to either get through or get down to Ewood and would they consider extending the claim your own seat deadline.... Be interesting to see if they take note. Bit of a PR opportunity available. EDIT - I wasnt quite as blunt as that!
  4. They still use the lounge when we play Man United, Liverpool etc..... Why the difference. I am well unimpressed by this. Ive made loads of plans to meet in blues pre and post match with some friends.
  5. I never tire of that joke Ste.....
  6. REFEREE IS HARRY WEBB. WITH MR RENNIE AS FOURTH OFFICIAL.
  7. They can only have as many phone lines as staff available......
  8. What would you suggest? Forking over 10% of the revenue to ticketmaster to handle the calls?
  9. Once again the club are in a no win situation. Not on open sale until Friday? So try and shift the 11,000 non season ticket holder seats not only in three days (Fri, Sat and Mon - no tickets on the day of the game) but then have to arrange for them all to be collected on the night of the game as the post wouldn't be quick enough. Much as people hate them perhaps a suggestion would be an automatic system for ST holders who only want their seat - you know one of them "enter your account number" "now enter the next account" "and now your credit card" but how often does this happen? Not often. It wouldnt be worth paying for it. The folks in the ticket office are getting through them as quickly as possible, when I got through yesterday I was dealt with in half the time I normally am, and I bought extra seats as well as 3 ST seats. They are doing their best.
  10. You mean the same letter that all away fans visiting Ewood park receive?
  11. Like I said longsiders... Read the bits you quoted from me and dont lump us all together. We agree on this point at least.
  12. Riverside and Nuttall Street, ends diretcly next to the Darren End.
  13. Yup And got the non st seat next to me. Once I got in the que at 11.15 or so, Bought my ticket at 11.40. Started at 48th in the que.
  14. The problem is the use one number for all of the departments routine. It isnt possible to put a wait time at the beginning because of the press 1 for corporate.....etc Of course, as a season ticket holder you could just ring tomorrow and get straight through!
  15. Actually not taking very long Ste. Ive been in it for about 10 mins and Im down to 11th. From 48th.
  16. Will be announced later this week.
  17. Think you may find we have Accrington Stanley to thank for that. Of course you would need to be able to read to work that out. Was there not a Burnley banner pre match?
  18. And you were the loudest group of fans I have ever heard. All 323,000 of you, and the thousands outside.
  19. He bloody was!!! Cheeky little sod! Cant add much more to whats already been said about the game. Pedders, Toddy and Nelsen excelled (relatively speaking) The atmosphere was good for most of the game. A few other points... The pillock in front of me chucking coins - if I ever see you do that again Ill give you a kicking, perhaps my bollocking wasnt enough? What on earth happened to the gents toilets? I thought the operation at Ewood was first class. The Blackburn End was open, andBlues selling hot stuff. The coaches all organised and the police escort very good. And even after the game at Burnley things well smoothly, not seen anything like that for ages. All penned in.
  20. From the mail on Sunday..... "Not so much a Lancashire hot pot but a bubbling cauldren of hate, into which eye of newt, toe of frog and Robbie Savage have been thrown without the slightest concern for public health and safety"
  21. I havnt inferred anything about Williams and Finn and their involvement in the club. Perhaps you could come and do a better job?
  22. The academy success is "fair" Along with the majority of your post that is tripe. Find another academy that has earned the club as much money as it has cost over 10 years, not to mention the fact those players produced also spent good periods of time in the first team here, helping the club earn more income. Fair my arse.
  23. What?! Other than Duff, what monies could we possibly be owed. A fair proportion of the Dunn money wasnt paid up front either.
  24. The accounts are uptio June 30th, Parkes left after than And attendance initiatives, thats marketing not accounting.
