I wonder how long before the first reports of Keane punching one of his team? Personally i don`t think Keane is wired up properly & management won`t suit him. I may be wrong though. -

I`ve said it before & i`ll keep saying it....the day anyone else starts paying my bills is the day they can start dictating how i spend my money. -

Make your bl00dy mind up Eddie!! One thing i`ve never done on this (or any) messageboard, is tell people how to spend their money. I think it`s very ignorant of people to dictate to others, when you know nothing about their financial situations. I have made my decision to vote with my feet public, because i feel my 'personal decision' has a lot to do with the thread topic. I can assure you Eddie, i have never wasted money........as i have very little to waste. -

Caught the Reading Festival on telly last night...... Arctic Monkeys set looked fantastic. Never heard so many people singing along to the songs. They are definately riding the crest of a wave at the moment. Played well too. Girls Aloud looked absolutely awesome! A true headline act! Cannot wait to see them at the MEN in November. Zane Lowe said something along the lines of...."if Matt Bellamy had been born 200 years ago, he would`ve been a famous composer." Awesome musicianship. Primal Scream`s set looked like fun. Good ol`time rock 'n' roll. the kooks had that 'vibe' about them. a happening band of the moment. -

Feel better? No i don`t feel better for it, but my pocket does. 5000 others have also done the same over the last 3 years, so there`s obviously a problem somewhere. The day i feel the prices are fairer is the day i`ll consider coming back to Ewood..... -

Getting ripped off by someone you love or by a complete stranger still means you`re getting ripped off. Football clubs (not just this one) absolutely love to play the 'loyalty card' when it comes to raking in the cash. They love people like you....infact they love you so much, they`ll keep on charging you more & more every year. You may not think £36 is a lot of money to watch 90mins of football....& good on you ...but i do. I have felt for a long time the prices are too high, so i`ve made my own conscious decision to vote with my feet this year & not go to Ewood Park. -

I haven`t really paid much attention to this thread (not read the last 10 pages entirely) but i just want to add my tuppenneth & say i have no time whatsoever for anybody who uses drugs. These are my reasons;.... An ex-girlfriend who lived with me is now a heroin addict & has completely f#####-up her life. She has two kids, who are bringing themselves up & are on the 'at risk' register. She`s been in prison a couple of times recently (for what? i don`t know??) She (& husband) are classed as a DOS (drink on site...methodone) by the local chemists......so they can`t sell it. All in all, a very sad case. Before we split, she used to enjoy the odd spliff with her mates......although never in front of me (cos she knew i dissapproved). After our split, she got in with a guy who was into heavier stuff... I didn`t see her for a couple of years, but heard on the grapevine she`d gotten into drugs in quite a big way. When i finally did bump into her, i was totally shocked at how she looked. This beautiful young girl i`d once been out with was now a gaunt, grey, skeletal figure, with a terrible complextion, dull hair & a look of what i can only describe as "hard"......the typical look of a junky. Her family are totally devastated with the path she`s chosen (as are her old friends) & have told me the kids are always hungry, but every time they`ve bailed her out financially, she`s just gone & spent it on smack (or whatever she`s on) I`m probably rambling on a bit (as usual) but my reason for posting this is to say, drugs ruin peoples lives, not just your own, but everyone around you as well (kids, parents, family, friends) ...So why do i have no time whatsoever for people who take drugs?.....because i feel they`re selfish. Every junky started out "just having a laugh"

Can i nominate Eddie for the column? "View from the West Wing" (p.s.....only joking Ed)

I don`t agree. I spent a tenner in the pub last night & watched the SKY highlights of the game (albeit after the game had finished) That saved me £26. I shall do the same on Sunday, which will put me approximately £52 up......& i shall continue to do the same because i feel watching 'live' football isn`t value for money.

Woner if it will ever make "It`ll be alright on the night XXXII"? Failing that, a Youtube link will suffice! -

I think most people could predict 4 of the final top 6 quite easily, along with 2 of the 3 relegation spots. There`s always some-one who gets 'lucky' & has a decent/unexpectedly good season...ie...Everton a few years back & Rovers & Wigan last term..... Boring....no predictable....yes -
