  1. Although the pitch isn't in great condition, we need to get Tugay on the ball more and pass the ball around a bit better. Emerton should go back to the right, Pedersen back on the left and get the balls to them and let them run at the defence.
  2. Nelsen looking solid in defence! Savage is up for it...made some good tackles. Bit of a scrappy game...but we look the better team.
  3. Apart from Rovers, I like Southampton as they represent the City I was born in. I also look out for Steaua Bucharest results as I had a great time in the UEFA Cup against them and mainly the other local teams in my area such as Bournemouth. I also like to see if Portsmouth get thrashed
  4. Another win....Yesssssssss!!
  5. For once lets hope they actually show us on Football First's main match after a good result! Great result, 8pts above 18th position...now lets knock the dingles out the cup!
  6. I thought Heinz baked beans was great for Man Utd despite his early booking. Great game to watch!
  7. i'd rather have Cygan!
  8. 2-1 Dennis Bergkamp! Great goal!!!
  9. Cracking team goal by Man utd! Giggs scores again!
  10. Let's hope it does!! My prediction before the game was Arsenal 3-1 United...I still think it will be that. Is it just me or does everyone else take great pleasure from seeing Man Utd fans sad after they lose a game P.S - Anyone else notice whats on the shirts? It's like a big nike badge, anyone know why theyve gone from little ticks to big badges?
  11. I basically agree with what other people have said. If any player wasn't committed to the club then they should go.
  12. I saw Caliban against Machine Head and I was really impressed with them, hopefully they will be good once again! Unlucky cornish man, you must have had a bad show or...i had a good one!
  13. As much as I like the guy, he is yet another player to fail at Rovers. Cheers Bazza.
  14. Just booked tickets to see Hatebreed at the Wedgewood Rooms in*spits* Portsmouth! £10 to see Hatebreed, Caliban & Crowbar fudge yea!!
  15. You must be a proud father Mattyc!
  16. First goal on his first senior team start! Back of the net!!
  17. Just incase anyone wants to listen to the game, here is the link to it! Rovers v Bolton - Radio 5 Live Stream
  18. 1-1 now! McAnuff the scorer
  19. fully deserved as well.
  20. Just got back from the game. Excellent battling performance to get the 3pts. The defence were great in keeping a clean sheet. Friedel produced a great save from Fuller (i think) which was dipping into the top corner but Friedel pushed it over. Our back four were great and really got stuck in despite 3 of the 4 being on yellow cards and also with 2 of them making their league debuts. I must add some praise to both of them for really adapting to the tough conditions as it seemed quite slippery out there and with them only just recently signing, they seemed to adapt to the game tempo with ease. MGP took his goal well, from where I was it was quite similar to the Cardiff goal he scored. Just a quick note to the Pompey fans... ha ha
  21. Is Chris Jericho touring with them as well or is he staying in America due to Wrestling?
  22. Anyone seeing Goldie Lookin' Chain on their tour soon? Seeing them in Southampton...cant wait as it should be a good laugh! You knows it!!
  23. Disgusting if thats the cost of the tickets. People are going to stay away anyway because its so early in the rounds but to charge that price for a replay between a struggling prem team and a struggling championship team then they obviously lack brain cells because hardly anyone will turn up! Personally a cost of £15 max would have been the right amount, not £9 on top of that!
  24. A few Rovers fans were singing songs and mentioning IRA...pretty stupid really as it had nothing to do with the game itself. They were just a sad group of kids who thought they were tough standing next to the Cardiff fans who were also a group of kids. To be honest, I dont think either team really troubled anyone near the end. We both had the ball and both showed that we couldnt do anything with the ball in the final part of the pitch. From the moment Cardiff equalised, it looked like that was gonna be it in terms of goals as neither team showed they had the firepower.
  25. Just got back from the game. It was a poor game in my opinion. Considering Cardiff are in the lower parts of The Championship, we matched them rather than out played them. There were hardly any shots on goal and the main play were either down the touchlines or around the penalty area but with no finished product. Dickov looked very tired, didnt seem like his usual hassling self, Matteo was rubbish. He fouled them, he mis-kicked and he couldnt pass or tackle. He really had a bad game. Felt Friedel was unlucky with their goal, he looked kinda suprised that it was in the back of the net and Pedersen scored with a good finish, however that was it from him, didn't see him for the rest of the game as he didn't seem like he wanted the ball as he made no effort to get it. Mokoena had a mixed game, he did some good tackles and looks promising but also didnt look too comfortable when going in the oppositions half. Its hard to say who was best because I felt as a team we were pretty poor, considering our recent form but I'm happy with a replay at Ewood, so i'm going to say Nissa, Todd for being solid at the back and Flitcroft for being his usual 'getting stuck in' self. Just want to mention the atmosphere. I enjoyed standing *hoooorrraaayy!!* at a football game without being told to sit down, however felt that there were more England songs than Blackburn songs at times which was stupid considering it was a Rovers v Cardiff game even though at the start it was amusing but after 5 minutes it got boring. When it was Rovers songs though, I felt we were great! I was a bit disappointed with the Cardiff fans though, I expected them to be singing throughout with an 'intense' atmosphere as described by a few Cardiff fans. Just want to mention that I am glad I am alive as I was travelling to the game sat next to an ex-Cardiff hooligan. He was very nice though and told me about all the peoples heads he's kicked in. He said he was also part of the Cardiff Skinheads, who I weren't sure were, as i've never heard of them before. Anyone know?
