  1. You just know the club will think "we need the fans on our side so let's employ Gareth Ainsworth who is also a fan!". Personally, I'd go for Ian Evatt who has a high reputation as a young coach with his progressive playing style at the clubs he's managed at. He helped rebuild Bolton to help them fly high in League 1. The question is, would he want to trade that for life at Blackburn? 😂
  2. Is it just me or is every manager we're linked to a bit uninspiring?
  3. I can't wait for tomorrow's cliffhanger Damien Duff duff duff duff duff duff duff duff duff
  4. Was the meeting held at the ground/training ground? I am still baffled by the CCTV person leaking this. Whether you agree with them leaking it or not, it's worrying that something like this can happen. If you can't trust those that work for you, who can you trust?! It seems like everyone at the club is untrustworthy!
  5. Whether people agree with the meeting or not, how on earth did the video get leaked?! It's stuff like that which again shows how not to run a professional club! Just really poor yet again.
  6. They'll probably bring back Big Sam.
  7. You can already predict what will happen. They'll get rid of a few people including JDT and then start talking about a fresh start. The pathetic thing about it is that a fresh start will never happen unless Venkys and friends f*** off!
  8. It would be strange if he resigned/was sacked and then Blackburn won the EFL appeal for Duncan McGuire....but as it's Blackburn, it'll probably happen!
  9. Sounds like a great Saturday Night quiz show.
  10. Whether it's an injury or a crap main event, yet again it's the fans that get screwed over. Boxing really has gone down the pan in the last few decades. This fight gave me a bit of hope but as quick as it was announced, it was postponed. The best aren't fighting each other (always an excuse) and the shows are now played in front of empty arenas instead of sold out world famous boxing venues. Nowadays the organisers put on crap events featuring cross-over mma/boxing stars or internet "boxers" to sell boxing because they know it makes easy money despite how poor the shows really are. Even Fury vs Ngannou, despite how well Ngannou did, was only close because Fury trained poorly for it. It won't change though because the media and the organisers make a lot of money. Boxing is on the decline and the real fans will just switch off and not return.
  11. In the normal world if I were to do my BAU activities in my job then it will get done correctly without issues. In my experience the time it's difficult to do my job is when people from above get involved and make strange demands/requests or don't pass on the right information then that's when it becomes a mess. It wouldn't surprise me if that's happened here.
  12. They'll probably put the prices up.
  13. Yep. He's 100% scoring isn't he? The Blackburn curse will strike again.
  14. I'm sure i'm in the minority but the two people I trust from the club are JDT and GB. They may not be perfect, I'm sure they'd be the first to admit it, but at least they have at least tried to improve the club from within. The trouble is they are surrounded by incompetence that will no doubt impact how they work. I also respect that they have also gone on record to speak directly to the fans and trying to be transparent even in cases where it's gone absolutely wrong. If GB has offered his resignation and JDT also in the summer then I think it's probably because they have some integrity and know it's been shambolic and we deserve better. Unfortunately, in my view, the wrong people are offering their resignations.
  15. I thought there were something like 200 applicants after Steve Kean left Rovers. I imagine if a position was available to manage Blackburn then a lot of people will back themselves to make a difference or see it as an opportunity to get into management. It was a surprise to see JDT come to us considering he could have managed in the top leagues in Europe. We will always be an attractive club due to our history. Sadly we all know it doesn't matter who comes in when the owners and board are the ones in charge. Even Pep or Klopp would struggle.
  16. Had his family not moved over here then he may well have walked.
  17. What shambles. I feel for JDT. Right manager at the wrong club.
  18. Came on in 1st half. Just got caught in possession for Brighton's 3rd goal. Probably wishes he was back with us now! 😂
  19. Six Nations tonight. Should be interesting with all the big name absentees!
  20. The past few days have left me exhausted and I'm just reading this message board and following the club from a far. God knows how JDT feels having to deal with the club in person and the BS being said to his face by those within.
  21. Fleck is a good signing. Less nervous about our midfield options now considering what it was like 5 minutes ago!
  22. Despite how depressing the signings are, it's important that we don't take it out on those that are coming to play. The French lad is getting pelters on social media as a result of Wharton leaving and how the club is handling the situation. Personally, he deserves a chance if he's agreed to come and give 100%.
  23. "Championship clubs can sign and register more than five loan players but they are only allowed to name a maximum of five in any matchday squad." Might have to pick and choose who plays.
  24. Have they fired up the fax machine yet for Big Dunc? Gone very quiet!
