What I've learned most this transfer window is how awful Sky Sports News is these days. First time i've watched it in a few years. What on earth has happened?! No hanging outside of training grounds talking to people in their cars, no shouting fans behind the reporters, and no dildos on screen....well, except Jamie O'Hara. -

Maguire, Hayden mentioned. Who could the other player be at Blackburn who's been spotted? -

A loyalty bonus wouldn't put on hold any move. If the move is wanted by both clubs then it can just be given in instalments over X amount of years or another way rather than in one lump sum. Sounds like the Wharton deal has been agreed and ready to be signed off. Probably just waiting for our lot to sort it's mess out before officially confirming. -

You just know they're panicking behind the scenes and will end up paying ridiculous amounts of money for a loan player. -

What I've learned in the past 12 hours is that everyone is full of anger on here (understandably so) and that we all have no real clue what's going on and more importantly nor do most of the ITKs. There were so many rumours flying around and everything just gets regurgitated in a hope that someone is more right than the other ITK. It seems like the reality was that the Wharton deal didn't go through last night as expected and this caused knock on issues for other deals for Rovers and other clubs that. This is normal part of football and I imagine will happen a lot today. I'm gutted to see Wharton leave but it was inevitable and is the model the club has been upfront about. Gregg & co. know the pressure is on them big time to deliver. Not just from the fans but JDT too. I'm feeling confident that we'll get some deals done today now that Wharton deal looks to be finalised shortly. Whether they're the right deals, I guess we'll ignore the ITKs and wait and see who signs the contracts (correctly). -

For all we know the suspended incoming actions could just be that the owners have gone to sleep and won't be sanctioning anything until the next day 😂 I woke up in a positive mood. I think we'll bring in 2-3 players today. Or maybe it's the antibiotics I'm on that's making me talk rubbish 😂 -

So according to Nixon we haven't completed the deal because we haven't got the money yet. I mean, I hate to be boring but that makes sense. It's usually a game of dominoes when transfers happen. For all we know his team have kicked up a fuss but what can we do if we've yet to receive the money? -

Maybe we were signing his Mom (makes sense, she followed us). Rovers found out she wasn't on the plane so they ended the deal. -

If it's true and we have pulled out of the deal for the American then for all we know there could be a good reason that benefits/affects our club i.e. someone better, terms were unrealistic, Wharton deal off so can't afford it. I'll wait for some clarification before assuming the worst. -

I'm the complete opposite. I hope he ends up an influencer, drunk, on drugs, and broke. Then we can laugh at how much money we've made! 😉 Just kidding. I hope he smashes it. -

McFadzean ticks the following boxes: Experience needed ✔ Leadership on and off the pitch needed ✔ Good in the air for set pieces ✔ Can play in back 3 ✔ Already has an understanding with Hyam ✔ Short term deal to cover injuries ✔ Takes pressure and responsibility away from younger players who aren't ready for it ✔ I'm not claiming this is some incredible signing that we've managed to pull off and we're going to dominate the Championship. It just makes sense based on what we're struggling with at the moment. The last point I made I feel is important because we have a young squad who are learning and still developing. He could be the difference that turns a negative result into a positive one. -

I think it's an excellent signing. As the above + it also means we can take our time in the summer to recruit the right people rather than pay a fee well over market rate in the next 24hrs for a player we may not have done our due diligence over that might cost us in the long run.
