  1. Good half against a horrible Blackpool. Brittain and Dolan our main performers.
  2. Playing OK but replace Gallagher with Vale . Best thing Gallagher can do is get out of the way when we're attacking
  3. So I´ve decided to only post when I have something positive to say about our beloved(?) club as the negative side is well covered. Might be my posts will be coming rather seldom but then again… Good things from first half: Dolan has been good today. Needs to link up play more with Brereton and lie to Gallagher and Travis sending them the other way. And the stream from Rovers TV has been ok to good today. So there´s that! COYB!
  4. Nice linkup between Brereton and Dolan. Dolan goes close….think he might score today.
  5. Kone missed on open goal. Give that chance ro Dack in the other end and the rest gives itself
  6. If I were a Watford supporter I’d be livid they haven’t scored. Says something about our defence and keeper doesn’t it?
  7. Like the look of Thomas. Too bad we didn’t buy a striker to be on the end of his crosses…
  8. If we’re keeping Gallagher JDT should demand he uses at least two weeks, ten hours a day, where the only thing he does is to learn how to receive the ball and keep at your feet. Next two weeks - head the ball in the wanted direction. Then repeat the bit about making a pass stick. Then use two weeks with instructions to shoot and miss the goal…some of them might even go in? Now repeat ad nasuem untill the end of the season and give a few games with his newfound ability. Might help us getting something for him rather than paying someone to get him off our books.
  9. Replace Gallagher and Vale with Markanday and Dolan in 2nd half. At least they’ll provide a bit of running that might bring the illusion of entertainment. Hell…replace Gallagher with Pears or Edun….won’t notice much of a difference.
  10. Nothing new from Gallagher. Didn’t even give me a bit of puls as it should. Get rid and replace with a League 1 player….can’t possbly be worse.
  11. Need a forward that will work with Dack now he’s showing good glimpses of what he can do. We really are paper thin up top.
  12. We sorely need fresh faces with some bite and urgency in midfield. Let’s hope that happens in a week or two.
  13. Need to make some changes up top. Agree about Markanday. Give the lad a chance to impress.
  14. Could be a good game for young Garrett perhaps? Can’t do worse than Buckley and at least shows some aggression. Our midfield have been pitiful. Still think we might win this as we only need one flash of brilliance up top as their defence is nothing to worry about.
  15. Let’s hope Sunderland is a typical Mowbray team that won’t turn up in 2nd half before Tony destroys them with his subs…..only chance to win this
  16. A bit late to the party but a merry Christmas to all BRFC supporters, young and old, negative and positive, native and foreign. Even though I’m not from England Blackburn Rovers will for some weird reason always hold a special place in my heart. One of the absurdities that makes life worth living to be honest. And despite growing negativity (understandable) over the years BRFCS still feels like «home». A big thanks to the admin and mods! Let’s hope for good fortune in the new year that will put bums in seats, increase traffic on BRFCS, and make us attractive enough that someone will take Venkys off our hands! Tomorrow: pub, beer and sound trashing of Mowbrays Sunderland. Cheers and meery christmas all!
  17. Caught myself saying this earlier today...go figure! Have Morocco as my favorites now. Not the popular choice, but an african winner could be the one redeeming factor of this WC. Still hoping England could win this but not looking good.
