[Archived] Mark Hughes - Good Choice ?

Wouldn't a plum position as 'club ambassador' or 'community laision' or whatever they're tagging it these days by appointed by JW? Flopsy, (i could be off, here) MH wouldn't have the power to hand Tony a position of that type as it's outside his sphere of influence. no? I also feel bad for the way a loyal servant of the club was sacked after so many years of service. But once MH pulled the trigger on Tony, JW could have located a position for him however significant. -

J OB would be a decent shout , unfortunate he's entirely too brittle for the Premiership. Now, Eddie Johnson.... that would be a nice pull ! -

I see a wide open match (as per usual with these 2 clubs) featuring plenty of ooh s and aah's.. Spuds 2 - Rovers 3 where we pull it out in the dying moments. -
[Archived] Have We Just Seen The New Maradona?

Are you all rambling on about Lio's escapades or Adebayor's swan dive on Saturday? Because the latter was clearly a dive and the former was taking protective measures in response to a ridiculous, out of control challenge. It's disgusting that Del Horno is getting a relatively 'free ride'... just moments before he had planted a two stud welt on Messi's knee and even had he not seen red, it was a matter of time before he'd do it again, as he was never close to properly tackling the kid. As for the 'New' Maradona... I personally hope it isn't the case as the original never stops embarrassing his countrymen. I just hope Messi is Messi and stays healthy-- -

The Arse looked a good side because the lily whites allowed them the luxury, when was the last time RM ever played defence? And I'm not referring to kicking lumps out of their opponents' legs. I would imagine Rovers will look to lock down the freewheeling aspect of the Arse's game and will more than make a match of it--Sparky will make certain of it. C'mon lads, where's the proper attitude? This is good side be positive -- all's not lost ! -
I'd like to echo those congratulations! Good times to be a Rovers' supporter, may Sparky's tenure continue for many a year. (knowing fully well that's not to be ) On the other side of the coin, lets' not forget that Jonny Stead also factored in the U21 as a Rover and look where's that's gone.

Am I missing something?? Where's everybody? Very lonesome in here today! C'mon Rovers, let's make it 2-0 for halftime.

QUOTE(ABBEY @ Feb 2 2006, 21:48 ) hes ronoldos shemale bitch Abbey.....that's two Shemale references in two different threads in one day... Mods, is that sometype of mark? EDIT: I stand corrected.... three references if you count Tranny... Not that I'm fixated or anything... Abs, me friend, seek counsel -
I think the 'hairdryer' probably doesn't have the wattage it used to.
-
Bentley ! Hope Sparky paid for this lad in full yesterday... as the Arses now demand more $$ for him! c'mon you Blues.. Holy crap ! What is going on here.....

Good read, BF. It was a hectic month & the cup competitions will be missed. Den, since this column has proven to be so successful perhaps we can introduce the proverbial other side of this coin ? I was thinking perhaps Vinjay can submit his own take on the months goings-on from his padded cell in elba. what do you think?
