  1. I enjoyed watching Kargbo yesterday. I've forgotten what it looked like to see a player take on a man for pace. Used to Dolan spinning around and tripping over his own feet
  2. Do you think record breaking defeats would make them care? It wouldn't bother them.
  3. Well I've just phoned Suhail from a withheld number claiming to be Steve Bruce's agent. He was having none of it. Suggested I text him my details as my phone number wasn't appearing 😂
  4. My current feelings on a replacement: Yes pile: Dyche, Martin, Duff, Cooper, Edwards, Carsley, O'Neil, Ismael Maybe: Hughes, Critchley, Harris No thanks: Evatt, Bruce, Warnock, Warne, Gerrard, Rooney, Lowe I know which pile we are most likely to appoint from.
  5. Anyone know what Judan Ali is up to these days? He's usually included in the betting when this job comes up
  6. Interesting that Eustace has had the lowest win percentage of our managers in recent years (excluding Coyle). JDT's percentage is staggering considering how bad a run we were on towards the end of his reign.
  7. My son wanted to get autographs and pictures with players today (he's 11). Most of the players were very accommodating and friendly. Adam Forshaw walked past and I told my lad not to bother. Can't see him being here next season. Nothing signing.
  8. I spoke to a Derby fan today who was at Pride Park on Friday for an event and the word there was that Eustace was pretty much a done deal before weekend. I also spoke to Damien Johnson today and asked him if he fancied the job. "Hmmmmm....let's just hope he stays" was his response. Super Atko also said "there is definitely something going on in there now" after the game. I get the impression they're making a desperate last ditch attempt to persuade him to stay. Personally disappointed to see him go, but on the flip side our league form has been poor and there are plenty of decent names available at present. Every time a Championship job becomes available at present I've always been impressed with the names linked to it. I'd take any of Dyche, Edwards, Cooper, Duff and probably even Carsley. Whether any of them are mad enough to come here is a different question. I've seen £500k mentioned as the compensation figure for Eustace. I've seen a previous manager's contract and the compensation was set at 12 months salary - so presume Eustace is on circa £10k per week and that's the sort of budget we'd have for a new boss (and preferably an unattached one).
  9. I don't think you can judge anyone for getting sacked by Watford.
  10. I thought Dunn was excellent when he came on. He sits in front of the back four and is happy playing one or two touch passes. He got exposed a couple of times on the break with his lack of size and pace but you'd think he would improve as he gets older. He's got a great left foot on him and he's a different build to his dad.
  11. Late winner for Bilbao. Header from a corner.
  12. We've been much better since the substitutions.
  13. Young Dunny looks decent. Different kind of player than his dad. Seems to play deeper. More like Wharton than his dad.
  14. Ribeiro is very similar to Pickering. I've liked Atcheson so far. I've not seen him before.
  15. There are countless reasons we've been poor lately, but the facts are absolutely clear. We are better when Ohashi starts and Gueye is an impact sub.
  16. Well they scare me every week. Echoing a comment above. Hedges is a nothing player.
