  1. Bell needs to be no more than back-up LB next season if we want to push on.
  2. 95% sure we have a pretty decent sell on fee due to the terms of the deal that the Cherries got him under. Shame he’s only got a year left on his deal.
  3. Looks like it’s ‘game on’ regardless of people’s thoughts now then.
  4. Agreed, Amo. A few months back I was watching an interview with him where the interviewer referenced people in Spain saying he was one of the best midfielders outside of the big 3 in La Liga - so he must still be playing fairly well! One of many during that era who were criminally used incorrectly - if barely at all.
  5. Yep, clown of the highest order. Won’t listen to anyone else’s point of view whatsoever - hope his career nosedives after this. Makes you shudder to think what it must have been like here over the past ten years with the likes of the bald snake, Shebby and co calling the shots.
  6. Been named in Sky Sport's team of the season to date and not far off an England call up (whenever that could be). Another Rovers balls up.
  7. Bloody loved that goal AllRoverAsia - one of my faves.
  8. Not saying they’re not - just found it interesting how close a good number were, and how the two best American keepers of the PL era ended up on the same number of clean sheets. Completely agree that Brad has been robbed - Alison and Ederson have played about 50 games each FFS.
  9. Saw a stat today that Friedel and his compatriot Howard have exactly the same number of clean sheets in their PL careers - they’re both tied with Van Der Sar on 132. Just 13 clean sheets separate 11th (Joe Hart) and 4th (David Seaman).
  10. Chopra has posted something on Twitter as has Gillespie (latter since deleted it by the looks). Liam Ridgewell too.
  11. Few ex players commenting on it now - looks like it may unfortunately be true. Likes of Chopra who played with him have posted messages as such. Jesus what a terrible few days just made worse.
  12. You could argue that. Or you could say eating bats would naturally lead to something like this.
  13. Right decision, but the weekends are going to be boring as hell for the next month. As an aside, I saw something on Twitter which made me laugh - some guy said despite this postponement, Elliott Bennett will still somehow get a game tomorrow.
  14. Don’t worry, he offers so much going the other way. Oh wait.
  15. Yep. As Matty says, he's constantly covering his arse in the LET saying they'll come good, will be great players for this club for years to come. Rollocks will they. I'm 0/100 convinced about Brereton and about 2/100 about Gallagher. The latter needs a run up front but as I've said before, he doesn't play the role of forward well at all - doesn't know when/where to attack the ball with his feet or head to name just one monumental flaw for a "striker". Mowbray hasn't helped playing him RW for the majority of his time here, mind.
  16. He doesn't look a "different animal" to me: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18296019.ben-breretons-time-shine-coming-says-tony-mowbray/ He was downright awful against Derby as he has been for 99.5% of his time at Rovers. I genuinely would try to get what we can for him in the summer - appreciate it will be peanuts - but he is not going to make a decent Championship player in a million years.
  17. He’s 25 in a few months time - he’s not a young lad. Even when he plays up front he’s terrible - he hasn’t the foggiest how to play the role which is why he very rarely scores.
  18. Yep he was terrible - every second touch was a half-arsed attempt at a tackle. The performances from our 3 ‘forwards’ today were just horrific.
  19. Said it a million times and I’ll say it again - he wants sacking for signing those two dollopers alone. A club like us simply cannot waste money like that. Unforgivable.
  20. And the rest. I still can’t get over that performance. If we had a CEO with any balls he’d make ‘em walk home - Mowbray included.
  21. I said this in the first half. He’s actually a friend of mine but he’s terrible with crosses and when you put him under the cosh (Great shot stopper though). He won’t have had an easier 90 mins than today.
  22. I know. It should be 6 or 7. BBrovers beat me to it!
  23. There have been a few candidates but I’m struggling to recall too many worse performances than those today of Bennett, Brereton and Gallagher.
