  1. You say that but weren’t Travis and Reed our CM two at home to Boro last season when we couldn’t even get out of our own third? Edit: my bad it was Evans and Reed. Would explain it with the former being in the midfield!
  2. I think that's him done now with football. Surely at his age you'd take the compensation and live your days out in the sun. As an aside, you won't find the media defending their decision much, but wait til the day we eventually pot Mowbray despite our God awful form and there will be outrage.
  3. Sure. He can win headers but can't attack the ball for toffee.
  4. Gallagher is a big 6’4 lad but plays like he’s the height of Paul Dickov. I’d argue Dickov was more effective at heading too if you take pointless flick ons out of the equation.
  5. Under a new gaffer, with any luck.
  6. You may not say that come a week Saturday!
  7. Enough. TM’s teams play beautiful football - the media keep telling me.
  8. Lenihan’ suddenly turned into Van Dijk in TM’s eyes despite earlier in the season saying he’d have his work cut out to keep his place / get back in, or words to that effect. As you say too, it didn’t take much to predict that Lenihan would succumb to an injury sooner or later this season. He’ll have another spell out before the season is done too I’d wager.
  9. He has. Saw Samuel is in Barcelona so imagine the rest will be on their jolly’s too.
  10. Exclusive of the Barnsley game I’d say 1-3 points is a fair estimate as there’s a chance we could do Derby. Not a chance of 7.
  11. I really do fear for us if Barnsley do a Luton/Charlton on us. Looking at our fixtures after that: - Brentford home: they’re on absolute fire away from home at the moment. Loss - Stoke away: O’Neill will outsmart Tony, no problem. Loss. - Derby home: you feel we need to win it but can see a draw. - Swansea away: easy home win - Bristol City away: easy home win Takes us to Wigan at home just before Christmas. Gulp.
  12. Daft in the extreme pal but they’re there on Twitter and Facebook - trust me. These fans will be the first to say a change was right when it inevitably does come - albeit far too late.
  13. Twitter and Facebook is where the majority of the deluded fools are dwelling right now. ‘We’ll come good!’, ‘We’re getting such bad luck with injuries’, ‘refereeing decisions are costing us!’, ‘get a few new players in January and we'll fire up the league’. Heads. In. Sand.
  14. See courtesy of Dom Samuel’s Instagram that the players are on their holidays. Teddy Bear Tony strikes yet again.
  15. Folk I’ve spoken with who were at the game reckon we were the absolute pits today. Mowbray must’ve been on the ale before doing his post match presser yet again. Anyone would’ve thought we laid a real glove on them!
  16. Just brought up some sick!
  17. Another huge, huge waste of money. Mowbray wants sacking for his recruitment alone.
  18. People keep talking about the January window. But honest question - would you trust him to bring in the necessary players to improve us? I wouldn’t. Said before and I’ll say it again, I wouldn’t trust him with a penny more if I were the V’s.
  19. You still want him out Chaddy?
  20. See on social media that many are now behind Mowbray following one victory against SW. Turncoats. We’re facing a bloody relegation battle with him in charge FFS.
  21. I’ve never been so ‘meh’ about Rovers as I am right now. Turgid stuff pretty much every week and the worse aspect of it all is knowing our glorious owners will do bugger all even if we keep this terrible form going. Just meh.
  22. 29% possession too. God knows how we’re still only 1 behind.
  23. His choice of subs continually baffle. Bloke does my head in.
  24. 60 mins in, still just the one shot on or off target.
