I think you and a number of others may be in for a surprise as I have a feeling we’ll be in and around the relegation spots before long this season. There simply is no Szmodics, Diaz, Arma or Rhodes to bail us out this time. We have zero goals in us.

Chris Brown and Fode-Koita were better judging by Gueye’s current performances.

I think reality is dawning for many that we did in fact have a terrible transfer window - Beck and Cantwell aside. Eustace talked of Baker like he was the Championship Iniesta yet he’s barely played a minute. Gueye couldn’t trap a bag of cement. Ohashi looks every inch the freebie untested at Championship level. I could go on. I’m personally underwhelmed by Eustace and our recruitment team but the buck starts and ends with our owners. Years and years of neglect was always going to bite us on the arse sooner rather than later and despite the (IMO misleading) start to the season, it could well end up being this time round that we do drop.
