  1. No. Championship wise at least, it was 2016 last time I believe. We’re shite and Mowbray needs to go.
  2. ‘Give him the window FFS’ ...’What do we expect against a team like Stoke?’ ...’We’re not going down FFS’. You’ll see it all later.
  3. Need shot of Dack IMO. Not playing because you’ve had a barney with your missus is quite frankly ridiculous.
  4. Some good or potentially bad news - Dack and his missus have split up. Again. Maybe he’ll put a fecking shift in today.
  5. He always bangs on about us being close in every match yet we’ve been spanked off the park numerous times this season. I just take everything he says with a truck load of salt these days TBH.
  6. I’m not one to back TM but it’s going to be bloody hard to make this game entertaining as Stoke don’t score and don’t concede. 1-0 to someone today - he’s got to make bloody sure it’s to us.
  7. Can we score? Can Stoke score? Can we even defend? So much needs answering - it promises to be a fascinating(?!) battle.
  8. One thing’s for sure - it’s not going to be one for the purists. It’ll either be a drab 0-0 (Stoke’s 5th on the trot) or they’ll scrape it 1-0. As a couple others are pointing out, it’d be great to see a few of the youngsters let off their leashes, with the likes of Williams banished until being sold in the summer.
  9. Yep bang on. The argument is flawed for a number of reasons: relying on the ever injury prone Mulgrew & Rodwell (Lenihan’s had his fair share of injuries considering his age too), letting the only guy bar Leninan who likes a header go, not bringing in a replacement. That’s all just rotten luck is it? I too just don’t think he has the network or nous to bring in what’s required over the summer.
  10. We’d be lucky to get £10+ million if scouts have watched him since December.
  11. In agreement DE - worth a roll of said dice for me. Since my last post I’ve seen a new take on our slide....‘Talk of Ewood’ with a few thousand followers on Twitter has been preaching that it’s down to ‘a freak injury crisis that proved so costly’. Jesus wept. I reckon a humbling defeat by Bolton will get a few more to turn but the sheep will continue to back him far past the summer. It’ll be ‘give it 10 games’, then ‘let’s see where we are at christmas’ to ‘give him the January window FFS’.
  12. I wouldn’t be so sure. Honestly there are so, so many blinkered fools on Facebook, Twitter and the LET. We could lose every game between now and season end (probably won’t be far off in reality) and some folk would still be saying ‘give him the window to sort it out FFS’.
  13. If we go into next season with Bell and Williams competing for the LB spot we may as well pack up, go home and prepare for League One in 20/21.
  14. Yep. Who would he drop? Lenihan he bangs on about being a Premier League player while Mulgrew is his captain. Unless he switches to 3 at the back or Charlie rocks up back at Celtic Park, then a Bauer (or equivalent) will be on the bench with the likes of Joe Rothwell.
  15. He’s barely got the body to play CB any more, let alone CM. He’d break down the in the first match, I’m sure of it.
  16. Hard to disagree given that fixture list. As I said yesterday - if the season had another 5 or so weeks I’d be very concerned!
  17. Come on man, I’m clutching here! He’s also 33/1 for the WBA job. Let’s head to Mercer for the latest...
  18. It’s always been the case under Mowbray. How many last minute equalisers/winners have we given up vs. won ourselves? The stats would be galling. I can recall countless times this season where we’ve been 1 behind and barely threatened the opponents box - let alone goal - in the closing stages. As per today, the norm is to play like crabs across the back line, showing no urgency whatsoever. It comes down to rank bad management for me and points yet again to TM’s negative attitude.
  19. I see Boro lost again today and their fans all still bang on about him (and yes I know he managed them before). It got me thinking, could we see a ‘Souey’ mark II occur where we effectively get saved from a man rapidly losing the plot? We can but hope.
  20. Me neither. And as it’s been said a million times before, Tony was a commanding centre half!
  21. And that was with the likes of Elliot Ward in the mix too. Jesus Chris our defence has been awful for far, far too long.
  22. There is on Twitter and Facebook. ‘People can’t have watched the game’, ‘onwards and upwards’, ‘play like that and we’ll be fine’, ‘fantastic effort to a man’. Infuriating. Are people not seeing a pattern here of quite frankly shite results since November (bar the actual ‘blip’ in January as DE coined it).
  23. Our defence will no doubt play like they’ve been slurping back Fuller’s!
  24. He’d certainly be under very strong pressure - regardless of what the fans with the blinkers on will say. Derby and Forest up after Stoke. I can see it getting even messier.
