  1. Done eff all as an attacking sense apart from Charlie’s free kicks. If it wasn’t for set pieces this season we’d probably be in the relegation zone by some distance.
  2. He makes changes every single match - usually 3-5. The better teams have consistency in their selection. Yet again not rocket science but it appears to be for our Ton.
  3. That’s why it is unforgivable. They haven’t had an extra man FFS. Just embarrassing as I say.
  4. I’m sorry but this is un-fucking-forgivable to capitulate AGAIN. Huge question marks over Mowbray as our leader now for me. Same sh*t is happening again and again and again.
  5. Bet your bottom dollar the party line will be Smallwood should have had a yellow and we buckled from that point. We played another 20 mins against ten men and did feck all.
  6. 1 win in 9 and in that run we’ve had a hell of a run of good fortune to bag a few victories. Shambles!
  7. 2-0. You have to laugh or you’ll cry. Feck off the lot of ‘em. Embarrassing.
  8. It’s not disturbing with Williams if you’ve been watching Rovers this season, Phillip. He’s an absolute embarrassment of a footballer who shouldn’t be starting.
  9. Aaaand we’re losing. FFS. Same shit different day.
  10. FFS Richie. Obvious the ref would be looking to even it up. Foolish diving in.
  11. Why the heck not? Get both on and go for the throat for once.
  12. Huge chance to redeem ourselves from the Boro game by beating 10 men.
  13. I wouldn’t say streets ahead but I would wholeheartedly agree with second sentiment! Willims needs shipping out to League One in January.
  14. I see Sheff Utd are unchanged in 4. No coincidence that the best performing teams in the division have largely settled sides. We’ve been a million miles away from that this season.
  15. Not defending it, but why else would you drop your two best players Den?
  16. Tombola Tony strikes! He’s obviously prioritising the home game to West Brom. Pointless playing Palmer when he’s probably off on the 1st.
  17. Unless I’m mistaken it’s literally one or two who have said he should be potted now as opposed to the majority of the forum? More accurate is to say most - on here at least - are in the camp of ‘he needs to start producing better results asap and show some signs of progression’ as opposed to sack him.
  18. Yep. Just what the heck has *Williams done to start for us once again? It’s been one catastrophic display after the other. Time for the likes of Travis and Downing - players who have done nowt wrong - to come into the side. But I won’t be holding my breathe. *There are others who fit this criteria - but he’s been consistently the poorest performer for me.
  19. Yep similar thing I posted in another thread. That’s why I’m unsure about Mulgrew being captain material. There’s nobody who takes the ball by the horns - grabs the ball - rallies the troops. Oh for a Nelsen or Todd as you said. We need a tough bugger as captain to crash a few heads together.
  20. We’re definitely lacking leadership on the field (putting Mowbray aside). Every time we concede a goal there’s just disappointment on the faces of the players - nobody grabbing the ball and motivating them. Not sure Mulgrew is captain material for me as he doesn’t rattle enough cages and motivate enough on the pitch - class player as he is. Just adds more weight for the need for an experienced centre half to come in for me.
  21. Bang on DE. It’s not ‘one or two bad results’.
  22. Agreed we shouldn’t be looking to make any rash decisions - but it’s not one or two games Biz and you know it’s not. One win in eight and we’re freefalling down the league.
  23. Yep. Said it before so apologies but Gallagher will be the latest in the long line of strikers come wingers that TM plumps with come January. Genuinely think he must either lie in the negotiations or tell the player there’s an Arjen Robben waiting to break out in them. Can’t think of why else they’d sign for us other than the dollar.
  24. I know League one is League one but he still showed predatory instincts. He knew how to get away from a defender and his finishing was pretty decent. The step us has been huge for him - as it had been at Barnsley and Bolton. He’s quite literally been shite. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt simply because writing him off before he’s had a run up top would be harsh and foolish on our behalf - despite his diabolical form.
