  1. The alternative is Williams. Choosing between them is like deciding which b*llock you’d prefer to be whacked in.
  2. We’re going to need to upset the bookies between now and mid January or we will begin to look over our shoulder. Hopefully we can pull a Leeds or two out of the bag between now and then as it could well be a very long festive period given our fixtures.
  3. CF, CB, CM, 2 x FB’s, 2 x wingers/inside forwards, GK to challenge Raya as #1. Fair bit for TM to do if we’re really going to kick on.
  4. Not sure I’d trust TM here as he brought in one last January who is absolute bobbins.
  5. The coaches would surely know by now if it’s an issue? IF it is effecting him then he needs this operation now, even if Jason may not be Championship standard.
  6. Surely? The mentality of the boys (and I say that purposefully) and management just isn’t right when ahead in matches. We’re all sick and tired of it. If TM believes it to be solely a player issue (which I don’t) then he needs to rectify it in the transfer window instead of spunking what little budget we do have, on potential.
  7. I’d wager my bottom dollar it won’t have come and gone for Tony. He’s bloody undroppable.
  8. So effing predictable it’s untrue. How many do we need to be clear by before we can see out matches? 4 maybe? Lenihan, Smallwood, Bell, Nyambe and Raya (obviously) all poor for me. Fuming. And please for the love of God can no wally come on here saying ‘I’d have taken a point before the match kicked off.’
  9. Big game today - need 3 points for me given our run of games coming up. Think we’ll just pip it 2-1.
  10. Big game today - need 3 points for me given our run of games coming up. Think we’ll just pip it 2-1.
  11. Well they are/have been scouting him as I’ve said, Chaddy. Let’s wait and see.
  12. Funnily enough a Hammers mate of mine with connections at the club got in touch before the rumours surfaced to say they were definitely scouting him with a view to a potential bid in January. I was hoping we'd have him for the season but I think the V's will be seriously tested come the New Year.
  13. It makes sense given his contract situation and form, but I'm sure we all fear an injury or drop in consistency now. Prove us wrong, Corry.
  14. They just lost 1-0 at home to Bristol City so we really really need to be winning this one what with our two away fixtures to come.
  15. Personally I think those 2 inside forwards - whoever they have been - are always largely ineffective for us from an attacking point of view. The likes of Bennett and Reed can put in a good shift there but how many goals are they going to get you? Seems like no bugger scores for us outside of Graham, Dack or Mulgrew. We need some genuine wide men in Jan but I’m not sure Mowbray sees it that way.
  16. It’s this inside forward thing that puzzles me too. Brereton, Armstrong & co aren’t Robben or Sane. I know Arma had a stinker today but we’re not using any of these lads to their full effect.
  17. Certainly feel like we need a more detailed explanation than ‘he needs to build his upper body strength.’ He played a full season for Forest up top FFS. Something not right with this as you say.
  18. Getting a little bit bloody silly now given we were crying out for a goal today.
  19. Big 2 points dropped given they had 10 men for pretty much the whole match *waits for the first person to come on here saying it’s a point gained*. We really cannot see matches off, can we? Very frustrating.
  20. Probably the 3 most attacking subs in 1 match that TM has made in his time at Rovers to be fair (if you ignore how late Brereton has come on). Come on Ben lad, get your Rovers career up and running.
  21. It’s never easy against 10 men (as someone pointed out earlier - see Brighton vs Palace) but we’ve been very poor this second half, especially when you consider how long they’ve had 10 men. As has been the case for too long watching Rovers, we just can’t see games out comfortably - if at all.
  22. Get some fresh attacking legs on - they’re surely going to tire soon. Armstrong could really get to them.
  23. Was blindingly obvious that. I reckon they’ll get a second if we don’t switch this up a bit. Come on boys FFS they’ve got 10 men - let’s win this.
  24. Post Dack! This is very open - need to make sure we’re the ones who get the next goal.
  25. Couple of little niggly challenges on their boys and they could be down to 9. COYB.
