Pretty much what I’d go for except I’d stick with Raya and try Arma up top with Graham as I think there may be a combo there. Bringing in Rodwell in front of the back four is a must for me. Scrap this ‘he’s only a CB rollocks’.

But TM will not play Brereton up front and doesn’t think he’ll be ready there for a couple of years (sure he said words to this effect about him and Arma). So a striker has to be the number one priority as Graham cannot even seemingly play a full match every fortnight anymore.

Sharpe appears to have let him off the hook with the ‘Graham wasn’t quite fit’ nonsense so don’t expect any further rationale any time soon. We all know the big issue here is why do we have no bloody alternative.

This. The exact question that needs asking. I suspect he’ll come out with some jive like ‘Nuttall’ or ‘Palmer/Dack can play that role’ but it needs asking as the alternatives to Graham do not work (Brereton could be the man but right now it feels like we’ll never know).

What’s the reason for Dack’s very poor form (minus the goals)? Position deployed by TM? Head turned by the supposed bright lights of the Premier League? Olivia Attwood playing him like an accordion once again? One or all of them? Part of me thinks we should snatch someone’s hands off for £20+ million and invest IF the loons somehow stuck to their word of actually allowing a manager to do that.

Mowbray doesn’t seem to get it in his post match presser. The issue here isn’t not starting Graham if he’s not quite fit. It’s having absolutely zilch in regards to an alternative (and I’m not including Brereton or Armstrong as TM clearly doesn’t consider them as strikers - another debate alone).
