http://the72.co.uk/105061/rangers-leeds-united-blackburn-rovers-wigan-athletic-want-liverpool-winger/ Looks like he played under TM at Cov.
-
I think he’s Orr’s nephew too. Avoid!
-
No need for the new plumber, Caddis is still here for another year.
-
I like Lansbury too but I see two issues: cost, and his temperament. We can get away with one Dack (personality wise) at the club, but not two. IMO of course.
-
I'd definitely agree with this. Need to be much more streetwise next season - particularly at set pieces - and height/physical presence is central to that.
-
Can't say I remember him from our matches against them, but their fans seem more than happy in the main for him to leave. MK Dons season ticket holder mate said he'd drive him here! Hopefully just gossip IF he is that poor.
-
Nolan would be a decent signing. Get him in and shift Corry. Probably save a fair bit of £ per week too.
-
We didn't have a pot to p!ss in according to him yesterday?
-
The actual full interview itself is very positive: https://audioboom.com/posts/6868591-rovers-head-coach-tony-mowbray-is-back-from-india-following-a-meeting-with-the-club-owners-venkys Sounds like there’s budget to do a reasonable amount (within reason) to me. Nicko making up some guff once again by the sound of it.

Sorting deals out for the likes of Lenihan is just as important as bringing in new blood. If he walks away on a free in a year's time then the powers that be need shooting (again).
-
Don't fear; he'll be back predicting us to romp the league come August.
-
That’s our £10-20 million war chest sorted then, lads.
-
I thought he went the other way personally. For up to a million I’d say he’s worth a punt though. Difficult to justify much more when he’s yet to do the business, at our now level, in a couple of attempts. No to Toney for me. He’s more of a handful than Samuel but we need somebody more tried and tested than that. Hardly set the world alight in League One over several loans.
-
Yeah; played left midfield against us. We need a minimum of two wingers brought in, and just think he could be an option for the left flank. Peterborough have got a few decent attacking players who could add value; Edwards, Maddison and Marriott. Obviously the latter would be big bucks though.
-
I like that list. Would also add Gwion Edwards from Peterborough. Had a cracking first half against us this season at Ewood and looks a real talent; Welsh international too and natural width (hoorah). As you say, not advocating a full on League One signing spree, but a number of these lads are talented with the hunger needed to test themselves at a higher level.
-
No doubt he’s already been mentioned on here somewhere but would hope we move for Adelakun from Scunthorpe regardless of whether they go up or not, as the lad is out of contract and by all accounts won't be signing a new deal. Sort of young, creative player we should be looking at.

Brett Pitman is the best I’ve seen in the division but at times he turns like an oil tanker.

I look forward to revisiting this thread when we finally get shot of Samuel! Being serious, it would be best for all parties if he is excluded now from the squad for the remainder of the season and Nuttall promoted. He’s in danger of becoming the next Chris Brown and that ain’t good for him or the side. I genuinely think Brown would offer the side more at the minute as he at least put himself about a bit now and again. -

I get what you're saying, but two words: Paul Caddis. It must be very demoralising for him to see that guy in front of him. -

Surely Travis needs integrating back into the first team fold now. Kid will have learnt his lesson. -

Browny could at least hold the ball up though. I’m half jesting about the ‘worst ever player’ part, but Samuel does make Jason Roberts look like Romario. He’s awful. -

Dom Samuel may be making a case for inclusion here. -

Travis MoM. He needs to be starting at RB in Nyambe’s absence for me. Will surely offer more than Caddis. -
That’s who I’d go for too. Caddis isn’t up to it. Think Travis has fallen right to the back of the pecking order though following his reckless challenge at Pompey. For me it should be a case now of lesson learnt and integrate him back in.
-
Nyambe out for 4-6 weeks according to Rich Sharp for anyone interested. Not ideal. Wouldn’t be surprised to see TM plump for Bennett there or go back to the 3-5-2. For me we need Bennett in CM particularly with Smallwood severely out of form.
