  1. As one or two others have said, I’d imagine if Chelsea sign him he’d be back out on loan (us hopefully) for at least the next six months. He had a fantastic game against them in the Cup - I sat with a couple of Chelsea mates and they were so impressed.
  2. Very quietly surprised we may get Phillips over the line. He’ll be top quality at this level. That said, I’m not changing my stance from the other day; I can’t get excited about any signings until that lot have buggered off.
  3. Indeed, what a show. Genuinely the first time I’ve been on the edge of my seat watching a programme. The last ten mins or so was just fabulous.
  4. Pete OR can be hit and miss with Rovers, but he gets many before the likes of the LT reporter. Chances are that they are back in for him.
  5. "The club"?! Don't be silly. "Their baby" more like. The only statement I ever want to see/hear from them is that they are f*cking off.
  6. I'd wager it will be Wharton out and some untested kid brought in either very cheap or via ANOTHER loan. League One is impending this season or next unless the club is taken from them - make no mistake.
  7. This is it. Whilst I'm sure Palace wouldn't be his #1 choice, he only needs to look at Olise and Eze to see that it can be a great move. Those two will be at a big six club within the next 1 year - 18 months (indeed Olise should have been there in the summer, but chose to stay at Palace).
  8. They were still actively looking at him as of a month or so ago. I'm sure they can wangle it if they really wanted to via their Saudi feeder club income(!).
  9. Surely Palace would hang fire on this with Woy under serious pressure.
  10. I know through a contact that the Newcastle interest is 100% genuine. Whether they actually bid for him in this window, we'll have to wait and see.
  11. Our odds of relegation this season look more tempting by the day. Still can’t quite bring myself to do it.
  12. Good luck to the lad. I think in time he’ll make it at that level - great attitude and athlete.
  13. Jesus Christ. We’ve had some very favourable fixtures in those ten matches too. Open eyes time for the blue & white tinted glasses brigade.
  14. Completely agree. But we still had the steel and grit with the likes of Berg, Flitty, Short etc.
  15. There’s a million questions which need answering right now, but another one to add to the list is why on earth we’ve brought in this second Brighton kid who clearly can’t be up to much and/or JDT doesn’t fancy. We’re just stockpiling other clubs youngsters regardless of if they’re good enough or if we even need them.
  16. The next couple? We’d barely get 30 points next season with more players sold and more kids on loan brought in. Bring on administration, honestly, anything to get rid of them.
  17. 1 win in 10 in the league. Absolutely dire. Again.
  18. The club are fortunate that apathy reigns supreme across the fan base otherwise the boos would be big at FT.
  19. I would say, God they must be sh*t, but no doubt they’ll do us at Ewood in a couple weeks.
  20. A set piece to the opposition is as good as a goal these days. It’s inexcusable - Venky’s or no Venky’s.
  21. We won’t be doing that unless there’s been a HUGE change from the owners. It was nobody unless there’s potential resale value in the summer (loans aside, of course).
  22. I would hazard a guess, that at best, we’ll get in another PL youngster on loan to replace him (and one that won’t require a fee or much - if any - wage contributions).
  23. I would certainly get the armband off him immediately. Irrespective of his form, a leader he is not. Give it to JRC or Szmodics.
  24. That see you next Tuesday needs booting out of the club just as far as our owners.
