I still feel sick when I recall the 0-0 with Yeovil at home. We barely laid a glove on them despite the play-offs being firmly within reach.

We’ve also lost the same number of games at home as we did in 22-23 (6). Only problem is we’re not even midway through December!

It’s at home so we probably lose it. 6 defeats out of 10 at Ewood represents a hugely concerning issue for us. Clearly something has to change despite the extremely limited personnel at JDTs disposal.

This has the feel of a death spiral to me. Hope I’m wrong, but just a gut feeling with games coming thick and fast and a depleted squad. Not to mention not having one semi-decent striker in our whole f*cking club.

This will be our 6th defeat at Ewood so far this season. We only lost 6 at home in the whole of the 22-23 season.

It was at 0-1 if we’re honest. As I said earlier, reckon it will be 3/4.

Well that’s game over already. Yet another Ewood defeat incoming. It will be by a few too IMO.

Perhaps so with some of the smaller PL clubs, but some of the best CMs in the league are of the opposite mould - Enzo, Mac Allister, Fernandes, McGinn, Odegaard - just off the top of my head (there will be many more). I’d be highly surprised if he’s here next season because he possesses so much quality. He’s raw, but a PL outfit will no doubt think they can sharpen him up.

Ennis wasn't even getting a kick in his last mini injury-free run, so I can't see him getting more than a few minutes in place of Semir. And that's if he can stay fit between today and tomorrow; as Jim alludes to; it won't take much!

It’s all become very odd with Ennis. He actually looked half decent in his cameo‘s pre-his latest injury. He’s supposedly been back fit for a couple of weeks at least and he can’t get a kick even when we’re desperate for goals. One can only assume he’s a nuisance off the pitch or simply not putting in the yards.

The owners won’t allow it. Broughton/JDT are only allowed to bring in players with re sale value. I would imagine the reason we don’t bring in more physicality and big buggers is because they’re naturally less adept at playing the ‘creating value’ way too (in addition to the age factor above).

‘Leonard would ideally be on loan at a league one club’ is a quote I heard from someone close to the goings on at the club. It says a hell of a lot that he’s preferred to both Ennis and Telalovic. Big Sam will be our knight in shining armour for the two games that he’s back fit for before getting injured again.

Never the other way round is it?! You could probably count on a few fingers the amount of times we’ve scored either a last gasp winner or equaliser in recent seasons. I can name 10+ just off the top of my head for the opposition!
