  1. Yep. Our worst run of form of the season has come at the worst possible time. Yet again. The frustrating thing is we’ve been playing very well since Hudds but just simply cannot find the three points.
  2. It must be so so frustrating for JDT seeing us play pretty well for the past few matches but pick up barely f*ck all points wise all due to the fact that we have zero strikers. It’s so bloody infuriating as a fan, I know that much.
  3. If anyone wants to blame me, I’ve been busy at work, and quite literally just turned the TV on as that goal went in. That’s our season done if we can’t find a way back here.
  4. Good post. I'm still going 1-0 Rovers. We tend to get results when the majority don't expect it, and I just feel like tonight is gonna be our night.
  5. Gallagher out for the season. Looks like that Howard chap on Twitter was right.
  6. Nixon chats a lot of shite, but make no mistake, big clubs will want him. As I say, he does stuff that most others simply cannot do. And he’s 18!!
  7. I know he’s very young, but Phillips has to be a better bet than Wharton at this stage. He should be pretty fearless and he’s a big lad. Wharton needs a few months off to get his head straight.
  8. I don’t think he hit the heights that he did in previous performances, but he was still class in patches. He has a style of play on the ball that typically you would see in Spain, or South America - and from someone more senior. A big development area for me is his confidence in the final third - which I’m sure will come with time. He gets into great positions and I find myself either thinking, run at them, or pull the trigger, but he’ll always play passes into those ahead of him (no bad thing at all, if mixed up IMO). We certainly have the most naturally talented player on our books for at least the past decade. It’s exciting to see how he’ll progress next season.
  9. Got a link to said post DE? Or an overview of what was said?
  10. Ironically, seeing out games was our forte earlier this season. How times have bloody changed.
  11. Surely no other club in living memory has conceded last-kick-of-the-game equalisers in consecutive games to a goalkeeper and an own goal. It’s absolutely sickening and the most ‘Rovers’ thing that could ever happen.
  12. As others have said, to happen once you can put down to bad luck. But his in game decisions of personnel and tactics are costing us time and again. I feel like we’re back to the days of Mowbray where you never felt safe at even 2-0 up. Absolutely well and truly gutted tonight. Angry too.
  13. We are absolutely well and fucking truly cursed. I fucking give up. NO other team concede late goals like we do. It is absolutely well and truly unforgivable.
  14. Thomas one of the two off (Dolan the other). Harsh on Sorba that. Feels a bit like when we had Ryan Giles - there’s never any bugger to get on the end of his crosses.
  15. Sounds like BBD and Hedges could be coming on. JDT being proactive for once.
  16. Other than the Sheff Utd Cup game (which we still lost), why can we never perform in big matches? It’s a HUGE match, yet some of our boys are playing like it’s a testimonial.
  17. FFS Morton that was absolutely fecking useless.
  18. Our pissing about with it at the back is gonna cost us very soon. We look utterly toothless up top with no striker.
  19. That bloody ridiculous 95th min GK goal is looking absolutely huge right now for us and Cov. We have to win tonight. No excuses.
  20. Good spot by Rich Sharpe, lack of height a concern today without Gallagher. Carter and Hyam will certainly have their work cut out from set pieces.
  21. I see a lot of energy in the side, but not a goal in it!!
  22. Yep. No other explanation for the recent stumbles.
  23. Cov looking very likely to get 69 at least given their fixtures. That ridiculous goal the other night could be the costliest of them all. Norwich realistically gone from the reckoning after today at least. What an odd team they are.
