  1. The writing is on the wall isn’t it? Even the blue tinted amongst the fan base can see what’s going to happen here. No bottle when it matters, yet again.
  2. The simple fact of the matter is, until our management can find a way to get back into matches when we fall behind, we will not go anywhere. To my mind this is the third season in a row and counting that we can all pack up and go home once the opposition get their noses in front.
  3. Hudds beating Watford away. Warnock has them fighting tooth and nail. Our kittens will be rolling into town on Monday. I wonder how that’ll go?!
  4. Yep. Second season on the trot that the death knell has been rung in January. It’s unforgivable.
  5. I’d wager than Preston will finish above us. They’ll dish out another beating to us in a few weeks time - that’s for sure.
  6. Yet again: No heart when it matters No bottle when it matters No clue what to do when falling behind
  7. JDT needs to swallow his pride and get Adam Wharton on. Morton is simply not good enough for a side chasing the play offs. End of.
  8. Pointing out the obvious but we cannot afford to lose today. Time to earn your corn JDT, make us believe.
  9. We simply have to find a way back into matches. Perfect chance. Lose today and I think the writing is on the wall. Let’s show some balls for once.
  10. Just checked the Rotherham lineup; they have a few decent players in there. Get in lads. Either way though, let’s get the business done ourselves today. COYB.
  11. We need to aiming for 4 points (minimum) from the next two - no reason why we can’t get them if we play like we know we can. Come on boys, huge weekend ahead. Rovers 1 Norwich 0
  12. He’s clearly rubbed JDT up the wrong way in training with his application, and as a few others have said, it’s a huge shame given how short we are there without Buckley (and O’Brien!). Come on Scotty lad, get an arm round your younger brother. Wharton turning up for even 5 or so games this season could be the difference for us because Morton is becoming a bigger liability by the match.
  13. No to mention the O’Brien debacle. It would have kept Morton on the bench. Days like today really make me doubt that we’ve got it in us to get play-offs. We simply have to find a way to start picking up points on the road AND work out how to get back in matches when behind.
  14. This would be huge for us if it’s anything significant, especially as he’d just found his scoring touch again.
  15. Spoke to a Barnsley fan the other day who said ‘ah you’ve got last seasons Brittain, rather than the play-off season man’. He very much seems a form player; needs to stay fit and sharpen up. Shadow of the player we saw earlier in the season.
  16. Will he be a free, or will Brighton be entitled to some decent compensation? If the former, we need to be all over it. He clearly loved it here and I can't see too many PL clubs coming in, certainly not who can offer him first team football. Edit: ignore the above, I've just read that Brighton will exercise a year's extension on his deal.
  17. Two huge differences this year; firstly, no death spiral Mowbray. Secondly, we had no goalscorer for the second half of last season, but this time round it looks like Ben is fit and has got his Diaz back. I'm quietly confident.
  18. The fact that Utd and City have been somehow kept apart again, is a bit suss to me. A final between those two is a wet dream for the powers that be. I really hope Brighton piss on their chips.
  19. Pretty much. But the refs incompetence to not send off Robinson also cost us dearly.
  20. Yep. He’s bound to back him in public, but he needs to be giving him a rollicking behind closed doors. As I said earlier, he’s pussied out of so much this season and it’s cost us hugely today. I bloody hope he gives Wharton a run in the middle. Morton is not good enough.
  21. Absolutely sickening. Shocker from JDT with the defensive subs. Yet ANOTHER goal owing to Morton pissing about. I feel proud on the whole, but I struggle to see us even making the play-offs when we clearly don’t learn from our previous mistakes.
  22. As well as not wanting to see Tyler Morton ever again, I don’t want to see this absolute see-you-next-Tuesday of a ref. Given us absolutely zero all day.
  23. Morton couldn’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag. Pathetic from him; he could have just got stuck back in and stopped their move. Send the tosser back to Liverpool.
  24. I fucking hate football. Morton you fucking pussy.
  25. I would have just got Dolan on, for Gally likely, to run about everywhere and not give them a minutes peace. As others have said, going defensive never works for Rovers.
