Loan without an option is a very frustrating one. He could rip up trees here and we'll then very likely not be able to afford him come the summer.

Andy Bayes said exactly this to JDT in the build up to the weekend and it caught him off guard. Tried saying, we often end games with much less experience on the pitch, injuries etc. etc. etc.

Yet he never seems to play our best prospect in A Wharton (appreciate he was injured yesterday). There’s zero reason as to why he shouldn’t be starting - when fit - for a while.
