Our Deja vu transfer windows continue…. “Transfers due next week” “Blackburn target signs for rival” 😂😂 ”Blackburn look to loans” 👀 I’m hoping this year is different and the signings have been kept quiet, vey strange there hasn’t been many rumblings either.

I’m not quite panicking yet but the fact teams that finished around us have moved fast and made some decent signings leaves us behind slightly. Boro, WBA, Bristol City and even Millwall have been active and signed some good players. GB certainly talked the talk, I’m hoping his actions match.

Where the hell has all this hate for Pickering come from? Before his injury he was one of our better performers. He came back in to a struggling team and wasn’t exactly awful. Theres 6 or 7 areas that need looking at before LB.

A few close to the club believe it’s happening, I’m not sure it can happen within our pay structure. What happened to him? He was catching the eye of the top prem teams only 2 years ago.

Our DOF also said we have a healthy budget. If that does not come to fruition it doesn’t reflect very well on someone who’s been in the role a month. The Championship is a cut throat league and teams can easily go from promotion contenders to relegation candidates with poor recruitment. It is essential we replace Lenihan, nyambe and Rothwell with equal quality.

Rovers budget this summer is £1.6m this includes wages and transfer fees! No manager in their right mind would take that on. That would mean signing 2 freebies on 15k a week! 🙈 Obviously this hopefully changes if there’s player sales.

Pretty much getting to the stage I expected. 😂 The managers worth getting slowly dwindle and we end up going with someone cheap and cheerful. The owners have a great opportunity to send a message to the fans by installing a decent manager…..this would in turn increase ST sales and optimism for the upcoming season. We shall wait and see.

Watching the PO final has made me angry again. I don’t believe Forest are any better than us and Huddersfield certainly aren’t. they’ve both had managers that are tactically savvy and they’ve won/drawn games where they should have dropped points. What a waste of a season. I am Hoping a a new manager brings fresh hope. Does anyone actually have the 8 names without educated guesswork? This appointment is huge, like a lot of clubs we are one bad appointment away from a championship struggle.
