I’m still trying to remain positive, but there is nothing coming out of the club that is remotely positive. Yes a few young lads are getting a chance but that is more out of sheer desperation. There’s a couple gems but a lot of them aren’t up to the standard we need. is Ayala injured again? We need minimum 5 signings and none look imminent. Top half this season would be a miracle.

The season ahead already has a worrying tone to it. What are people thinking?? 10 signings needed?? Im not sure we have the man to achieve this!

Mediocrity breeds mediocrity. With TM in charge we will remain average. He’s played Sam Gallagher on the wing all season, not at one minute could he see it doesn’t work. He’s an ex defender! Yet our defence has been awful since the minute he walked through the door. How long do we keep hold of someone who “stabilised” the club? next season already has a meh feeling about it if changes aren’t made!

I know there’s a big call for tried and tested but I would like to see John Terry given a championship job. Every appointment comes with its own risk but JT played championship football in his last few years of his career and was ex England captain. Great pedigree.

I’d love to hear how people think TM can turn it around? Don’t get me wrong I’d love to get promoted with TM at the helm but it is unrealistic. He fails to remedy out shortcomings and has never been consistent. For an ex old school defender he’s awful at sorting his defences.

If they do bang a 2 week Covid circuit breaker in that’s the perfect time to get a new man in! 2 week to work with the squad.
