  1. Was just thinking this was one of the better games Pears has had. Then he nearly gifts them a goal and gets cut open my Tronstad covering his error.
  2. They look wide open could be a few more goals if we fancy it. Kit looks nice on TV.
  3. It's channel sky sports + event 40 on my service if that helps at all
  4. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2024/august/09/watch-rovers-against-the-rams-live-/ Don't even know what day we're playing despite the article being published the same day as the game. Stellar work, as ever.
  5. Can we get a 'you know' count on that interview? We were a bit spoiled with JDT I think in that sense. Still calling us Blackburn too.
  6. In terms of who goes first it can't really be any fairer than 50/50 can it? When I watch back some shootouts it's amazing how far the keepers came off their lines which they wouldn't get away with now. But I do agree that the balance has swung a bit far in favour of the taker, with how they now do the feints in the run up. How to address it though? Would you allow keepers to move off the line?
  7. I do enjoy a shootout and was a bit gutted we didn't get one in the Spain Vs Germany game. Still hear ignorant pundits talking about how pens are a lottery. It's a technical skill along with a huge mental element. Pretty clear that despite how shit they have been England have practised pens. I see the Copa America is going straight to pens after 90 mins and that's fine with me. Extra time is usually terrible..
  8. Credit for the pens, more or less perfect and Pickford always likely to save one. Absolute shite otherwise. Think the goal was only shot on target in 120 mins?
  9. Nice to see a final bit of action from Leo. Really vintage stuff as well, especially conceding with that rebound. Farewell, good fellow.
  10. From waking up at 3am / 4am most days to get video work done just to compete against Premier League clubs with vast global scouting recruitment teams has been the biggest bow to my string. Bow to my string? Sure to be a huge loss, this one. And why was he waking up at 3am like something is time sensitive or would move quickly? Didn't he know who he was working for?
  11. At least he can watch Gallagher toil away today rather than Morton. Also shouldn't Palmer be getting a game by now?
  12. Goalkeepers: Dean Henderson, Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale. Defenders: Lewis Dunk, Joe Gomez, Marc Guehi, Ezri Konsa, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker. Midfielders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Gallagher, Kobbie Mainoo, Declan Rice, Adam Wharton. Forwards: Jude Bellingham, Jarrod Bowen, Eberechi Eze, Phil Foden, Anthony Gordon, Harry Kane, Cole Plamer, Bukayo Saka, Ivan Toney, Ollie Watkins.
  13. Surprised to see Casemiro just turned 32. Played out of position tonight, which didn't help, but looked closer to 42.
  14. Casemiro & Evans at CB. What could go wrong? Almost cruel really with the Palace attack.
  15. Smashing United, although that ain't the feat it once was. Palace were legit favourites tonight. Just another day for Adam, strolling about like he's having a kickabout with mates.
  16. Ridiculous result today. I've witnessed many seasons and that was certainly one of them. See you next time.
  17. Finally watched the post-match interview. Said almost nothing of any substance, which is fairly standard for manager interviews, but the multiple mentions of bouncing back were particularly cringeworthy. Partridge-esque.
  18. Great following. Much more than the club deserve. Not sure about the Savile chanting though.
  19. McFadz trying to take some of the heat off Hyam with his defending for the pen. Leadership.
  20. You know it's bad when the Rovers commentators can't find any positives in the 'performance'.
