  1. Brereton being criticised for lack of hold-up play - exactly what Graham does so well.
  2. Mowbray takes no account of the state of the game and defending starts at the front. Brereton is as meak as a lamb.
  3. Lowes best position is left back (in the car park)
  4. Brereton on so the collapse is really on.
  5. As Raya could no doubt testify Rodriguez is very skillful at leaving a foot in and making it look like an accident.
  6. I totally agree but his mate Waggott won't and Venkys tend to believe anything that's blown in their ears. Only when it's too late - if then- will a change be made and what confidence does anybody have that the next won't be even worse?
  7. Also collapsed against Wigan and Preston who are certainly not "top of the league".
  8. The added time give-away at Leeds was the lowest point although today's spineless capitulation runs it close to finish the year. Not looking forward to 2019...
  9. Blaming the referee is last refuge for a desperate manager. Mowbray is obviously using the Kean-style rose-tinted glasses when he pretends this is match we were winning when the score was actually 0-0 and we had never looked like scoring apart from a Brereton missed chance.
  10. I don't see where the next win is coming from and failing to beat either Millwall (A) and Ipswich (H) will really have the alarm bells ringing.
  11. A truly shocking run of 10 performances since the beginning of November and getting worse by the game. QPR - a very poor game and a lucky late win. Rotherham - OK second half but still failed to win. Preston - terrible Wigan - even worse Sheff Wed - good against a very poor team and threw it away from 2-0 Boro - failed to capitalise on man-advantage for over 60 mins. Brum - throw it away late Norwich - same again Leeds - poor performance and thrown away in 5 mins Sheff U - utterly spineless capitulation when 10 v 10.
  12. When results turn bad Mowbray's record at WBA, Celtic. Boro and Coventry shows that he is utterly incapable of turning it round. Definitely time for him to be sacked before all of last season's gains are thrown away in a relegation.
  13. It' s all set up for us now to lose and we likely will.
  14. Yet another 2nd half implosion to throw away a lead as the opposition are allowed to score whenever they want. There is simply an inability to even compete at this level as several players - Williams, Bell, Evans, Smallwood, Armstrong, Lenihan, Brereton - are just not good enough.
  15. I would be. We had all the luck at Elland Road with a soft penalty, a free kick messed up by a shaky-lookinng keeper, Roofe hitting the angle and a fair numver of missed chances. I can see heads hitting the floor and with a manifest lack of fitness - clearly evident in the last 3 matches- giving the Blades an easy 3 points and probably a goal difference boost as well.
  16. OK so it might have been one goal in a total of 10 hours as a "not very super" substitute.
  17. Is there any level of inepitude that Mowbray would criticise? Also his assessment of the performance up to 90 mins is extremely rose-tinted as Rovers looked decidedly second-best in most areas. Only Raya, Dack, and, briefly, Reed matched Leeds in open play and Mulgrew from deadball kicks. Mowbray has a managerial track record of overseeing collapses after Xmas and this one has come early. Even at this point the 10 point gap from the bottom 3 looks wafer-thin and upcoming matches against Millwall (A) and Ipswich(H) are already looking like 6 pointers. Unfortunately Waggott and Venkys are so in love with Mowbray I suspect any recognition of his manifest limitations is likely to come too late.
  18. Mowbray doesn't even look bothered - witness his smiley chat with Bielsa at the end - and that attitude is reflected in so many of the spineless players - Bell, Williams, Evans and Smallwood to name just 4. Going nowhere except down with Mowbray. Time to pay up the contract and move on.
  19. Brereton is as as much of a lummox as Gladwin. TM seems to have a weakness for that type of player and at £7m it's a catastrophic mistake.
  20. Dave Wagstaffe Jan 1976 transformed a struggling team and excelled during 1977/78 season before Jim Iley binned him during the summer.
