I wouldn't want to re sign antonnsson. I agree I think he is a better forward than Samuel and nuttall. He did ok and played his part last season and I wish him all the luck in the world at his new club but we need something different up top. Pace, strength, height, a trick or two, a natural finisher. What ever tm decides we need for the system he is playing antonnson is not the answer. Regarding Gallagher if he was a permanent signing then I would be happier. If we sign another striker then I would be delighted to have him as an option because we are so light up top if Graham got injured. I thought he did really well here last time in a poor side. He played in a poor side last season and I never saw him play so can't comment on that but with two years experience in the league behind him and dack supplying him I think he would be an adequate signing

I barely saw him touch the ball in the second half but I'm not judging any player on today's performances. It is what it is. A run about. I would have no problems with Travis starting . I think he should have to win his place from the first team lads but no doubt he will keep them on their toes

Rothwell looks a real tidy player. Two good feet and looks dangerous. I like the look of him. Davenport didn't really get into the game. Was anonymous for large parts. Regarding systems we played three at the back first half and we were all over the place hoofing aimless long balls terrible half. Second half looked alot better without really creating much. Tomlinson and nyambe did well. Samuel and nuttall ran around contributing little. I'm no fan of Samuel and I've said before I don't believe nuttall is good enough. The 3 at the back didn't work last season. It won't work this season and will cost us valuable points. Also I'm convinced Tomlinson scored as the ball looked over the line

I agree with that. I'd probably add Walker to that list not because of poor performance but I just don't have the same confidence in him as I would the other centre backs. I backed Southgate and glad to see him doing well. I did however stress butland had to be number one and Pickford would at some point cost us big time. How wrong could I have been with that one. The guys been sensational. Maguire has been imcredible also and can see a united or Liverpool moving for him after the tournament. I never understood the Jordan Henderson fans either up until around February where he has looked a different class. The amount of people who have said I don't watch England there shite etc etc all through qualification usually armchair united and Liverpool fans have come out in force since the Colombia result. The same ones that where out in force for the champions league final and fa cup but didn't bother with the earlier rounds. I think there is more than one way to support a club and they get there enjoyment out football differently to us. They use it as a social thing to have a pint without investing into the club. Rovers to me is like a family member. Will always be there through good and bad and love it. Couldn't be with out it. They can't understand traveling to Ipswich on a Tuesday night and going straight work. They think I'm mental.they don't understand it and I don't understand how you can scream at the tv with such passion in a final and then not bother watching your team against Brighton the week after.
