I was with you until you mentioned Burnley
-
Can't disagree with that. I get where your coming from
-
I suppose it's dependant on where you live. In the 90s when we where challenging for the title and Wigan where playing leek town or some random unknown I grew up surrounded by and hating man united. Like vinjay that hatred will never go away. My hatred of Burnley has grew to equal propertions over the years due to social media etc and through attending the fixtures between both clubs. This season I have all the banter with the Wigan fans as I live in Wigan and don't give accrington a seconds thought. I always look out for Wigan games hoping they did well (until this season) . I would never give accy a seconds thought even if we do play them next season whilst not trying to be dismissive of their achievements. So if your in the accrington area I understand why fans feel the way they do , the same way the rest of us couldn't care less regarding rovers but simply admire a wonderful effort this season similarly of Shrewsbury or dare I say it ....them

I'd have him -
Players like Kane and shearer. Kane however needs to work on his celebration. His cebration is just a very good premier league celebration.
-
Alan shearer was world class and so was his celebration

If you love football and you love your national team then how can your excitement and interest levels be determined by where the cup is held, especially (as I am assuming) if your not going and watching it on tvs and in bars in england
-
I don't know why Delph hasn't been called up unless he is injured. I would of played him in the centre of midfield for a friendly see how he got on. Been excellent at city this season albeit at left back but with guadiolas tactics often sat in the middle whilst city where attacking
-
Harry Kane an impact sub at best. One of the best strikers in Europe in the weakest England squad in my lifetime an impact sub. Now I know your on the wind up
-
If you could have Conway in his prime or a fully fit Harry Chapman for the rest of the season who you picking ? ( Just for abit of fun)
-
It's not the cup it's self it's the fact some young lads worked hard to get to a semi final and would of took pride in possibly winning. now they are out because all the older players couldn't be arsed
-
Fair enough. I shall wait at the players entrance with my foam finger and give him a big hug in the hope he fancies earning living
-
I teach my 4 year old to put effort in and try your best. All strikers go through goal droughts he's being criticised for his effort and work rate. He's a 24 year old adult earning thousands of pounds a week. How old do you have to be before you learn that 100% effort is the minimum requirement
-
So do you agree that Samuel needs the same kick up the bum Graham got
-
He needs a slap and a rocket up his arse
-
To not even score with that line up against burys third string or kids is apalling, unprofessional and disrespectful to the young lads that had got us so far. Samuel can fek off along with nuttall. I've seen enough of them to no there not Blackburn rovers players

Haha I'm 31 so 2011 was pretty similar except we we're playing premiership football. Just for the record I think it's great that they are doing it. Anything to get more fans through the door is fine by me and if young people benefit then great but I still think your average 20-24 year old is in a better financial position regarding disposable income than people of my age. Me and all my friends at that ages used to do all sorts. You ask any of them now and it's can't mate , skint and I'm no different meanwhile my nieces and nephews of that age can afford to spend there spare income on themselves because they don't have kids and house repairs etc -

I agree between 18-24 is when I had the most expendable cash. I was in full time employment, no kids, and these days most people still live with there parents. Why should a 23 year old get a reduced seat yet people with mortgages , kids etc have to pay full whack when it's people in the 25- 35 starting families and buying homes etc who usually have have to make choices on whether their money can stretch to pay for football after paying out for everything else. Seems odd to me. -
It's hard to disagree with alot of that. I don't think it's only down to the manager though. The majority of the responsibility has to lie with the player once the manager puts them on the pitch. All good strikers should be able to defend from the front and create something for theirselves or team mates. We can't afford passengers
-
I'd say a pretty accurate summary. Can't disagree
