Ideally cantwell would play central but due to us having loads of players for that position and nothing out wide, for this game I’d play cantwell off the left due to him being far better than anything we have out wide against tough opposition. Baker or Sigurdsson can play central and would be more effective centrally than wide where as at least cantwell can offer something there.

Agreed. I think our fans are underestimating just how bad these signings are. Ohashi could be an option off the bench but we desperately need some pace out wide and a proper goal scorer. Gueye will fall into the browns and Koitas if the world. Sad thing is if we addressed that we would be a decent championship side

Tronny ACD Cantwell JRC Ohashi Get the abbreviations flanking cantwell and try and get some flair in the final third to create some chances and play to Ohashi strengths which is finishing. Let the LB and RB get up and down flanks later to whip some balls into Gueye in the last half an hour , who can also hold the ball up when Swansea are trying to pull back their 3-0 deficit, let the CDMs sit and protect. After 90 minutes at home to an average side we will know which is the best and most effective striking option to go with. Bag the three points and all get pissed 🤷‍♂️

Bloxham was the stand out player along with atcheson. The rest didn’t really impress me tbh. I’ve not been watching the youth since we had travis, Buckley and co playing . This team doesn’t seem to have anywhere the same quality and potential. Enjoyed the half though and will more than likely get back down to leyland to start going again on the back of it

Joe nuttall turning out for Altrincham. Saw the first half and had to go at half time. Gutted , sounds like I missed a good half and I didn’t know it went to penalties

I agree. They’re giving everything they have and should be supported. They just aren’t good enough to be consistent and grinding out wins and draws is how this season is going to play out. If you look at all the squads in our league we have to be in the bottom five. I’d take most of that Plymouth team over ours and nearly all of coventrys

The only reason the two new strikers are an upgrade on Gallagher is because they’re fit for selection. I’d take a fit gally over both of them

God Preston are an awful watch. Constant time wasting, shithousing, rolling around. I’d be embarrassed to support them. Three times I’ve seen them this season and every game was identical to that
