Tugay is a superb player when he is given space and time to play, but because teams arent stupid enough to give him this he doesnt always show us what he can do, it should be brought in for big games and easy games, like the ones at home against norwich and southampton.

Thompson for 3-4million, i wish if any1 was so stupid to offer us that then hughes would bite their hand off. Next seasons team: Friedel Neill Todd Nelsen Left back? Emerton Savage Reid MGP New Striker? Stead Bench: New Striker, Thompson, Mokeona, Matteo, Tugay Any more new players and i would be very happy.

I agree with roy, our players need the best build up in the summer and nothing should jepodise that especially a rubbish competition like the Intertoto. waste of time

Pedersen is the least of our problems at the moment and i think for the near future, we still need to concentrate on our obvious weaknesses, but i agree with den that it really good to go into a game not having a care in the world....except when will stead score?

I think that it is slightly worrying that we dont seem to alternate between playing 4-5-1 and 4-4-2, im loving the results but i would be nice just to have a bit of a change and go a bit more attacking.

I admit it didnt look great but tensions were high we had just gone 3-0 down and the captain was just trying to do his best for the team and get back as fast as possible, but he was over zelous when it came to the tackle and was a bit late, forget it and move on. the only reason its been blown up into sucha big story is beacuse of todds past 'bad record', which was shown this morning on Talksport as rubbish because he has only been sent off once.

I would rather have amoruso on the bench then short, but in fairness i wouldnt have either on there.

For the first time in ages I saw rovers keeping the ball for a decent amount of time.I dont no whether it was because of Everton playing badly or rovers playing really well. But it was really encouraging to see. same on sunday please.

I am furious wit Ferguson, we pay a massive price for him and he doesnt perform,he gets injured,he then comes back and again doesnt perform,now he hands in a transfer request for the easy life! This just shows that he has no ambition in life to better himself at the top level.

Todd showed what he can do as a captain on saturday..he was brilliant! The only other person it could be is Friedel.

I agree, I would like Savage to come but on our terms. He isnt worth 3.5 million or 35k a week, and if those are the terms of the deal he should stay at birmingham, but i dont think he will come to blackburn the story has gone rather dead last couple days.

It seems from the information I have is that both nelsen and mokoena can play at either centre back or midfield in the holding position. Also i agree with philly rover that nelsen seems more ready for striaght away prem football, when was the last time nelsen played? only because mokoena hasnt played for about 3 weeks due to the winter break in belgium.

at the game on sunday emerton was on the left side because apparently 'he likes coming onto his right foot' this maybe true but this means that he cant deliver a very good cross when the oppurtunity arises which kept happening on sunday. The best place for him is on the right with either Reid or Pedersen on the left, so that there will be oppurtunities for our strikers.
