Had he continued not to score, continued in the bad form, you'd be telling us that we got it wrong - as you still do with Mani's £10m Buckley shout, or roverclitheroe damning indictment of Hyam I don't think you have said you got it wrong on Gueye though - only that he is looking good but you were right to call him an awful player with no technical skills at the time you did!!!

Performances like that don’t happen every week, no matter who the striker is or what level they are playing at However, it was clear from early on that Gueye was capable of a performance like that. His hold up play, technique and physicality are his strengths and he showed them all yesterday The worst part of Gueyes game is his arrival in the box. He starts the move and then often isn’t where you want him to be - between the goal posts. But I sense that is being worked on, as he has been busting a gut to get in the box at times recently.
