  1. The Electric Light Orchestra - Can't Get It Out Of My Head
  2. The Beat - Hands Off She's Mine
  3. Pink Floyd - Another Brick In the Wall The last number 1 of the 70s and the first one of the 80s.
  4. David Gray - Say Hello, Wave Goodbye
  5. Gerry and the Pacemakers - Ferry Across the Mersey
  6. If you're in the building/demolition trade I hear there's a job going removing some terracing from the Pendle Hill area?
  7. I'm sure the likes of Madrid and Barcelona have more than their own share of 'plastics'/tourist fans, to be fair.
  8. Jake Daniels is an extraordinarily brave young man. It can't have been easy being photographed in a Blackpool kit.
  9. Sister Sledge - Mama Never Told Me
  10. The Drifters - Under the Boardwalk
  11. Crawley is simply not a test opener. I would have preferred his Kent teammate, Ben Compton, in the side. He seems to at least grasp that an opener's job is to stick around for a while and see off the first new ball.
  12. Without straying too far into old firm willy waving territory, I doubt what the Lisbon Lions achieved in 1967 will ever be surpassed - and that isn't taking anything away from Rangers 2022 whatsoever. What was the stat - all players apart from one were born within about 10 miles of Celtic Park? Incredible.
  13. The Specials - Too Much Too Young
  14. The Boo Radleys - Oh Brother
  15. Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)
  16. If the $40 million in 4 years thing is true, then he definitely has a problem. Addiction can strike at any time and its not unusual for fading sports stars to try and replace the 'kick' they got from their sport with something else (notwithstanding his surprise USPGA victory last year)
  17. Chuck Berry - Roll Over Beethoven
  18. The Jam - Man In the Corner Shop
  19. Bad Manners - The Can Can
  20. I must admit mate I thought Dundee was closer to St Andrews than that. The Tay Bridge must be longer than I thought lol
  21. The centre of Glasgow is roughly 2 hours away from St Andrews, probably even longer than that during the Open with the heavy traffic on the A91. Dundee, Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling are more likely venues for hotels for those going to the home of Golf, I would say.
