Without really wanting to get into a tit-for-tat about the semantics of what you actually posted, you speculated that he had weak bones, possibly the onset of some sort of osteoporosis, because he was unlucky enough to have broken bones in two separate parts of his body in relatively quick succession. You also reckoned that anyone else wouldn't have broken as many facial bones as Evans did (based on goodness-knows what?) an opinion which you have pretty much made up to suit your 'weak bones' theory. That is where the 'ill informed' comment emanates from. Anyone who has seen either injury would know that both of those challenges were bone-breakers and not indicative of anything other than bad luck. As someone who had an identical injury many years ago, for him to get back playing again so soon after that facial injury took a huge amount of guts so I'm not sure we should be speculating about some made-up underlying problem that he may or may not have. Nobody is arguing about the fact that he is injury prone - some players just are.

With the greatest respect, although I will agree totally that he does seem to be unlucky with injuries, your weak-boned theory and osteoporosis diagnosis is ill-informed. Probably best to just stick to 'injury prone', which I don't think anybody would argue with. Even that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't 'rugged'.

The facial injury he got was absolutely nothing to do with weak bones. There isn't a human alive that would have withstood that impact without a smashed face to show for it.

I would be happy to allow a parent and child to use mine on the many weeks I couldn't, I wonder if we could set up a 'buddying' scheme? -

I haven't had one for 5 or 6 years now (and even then I can only get to a max of 10 home games a season as I live in Scotland) but I'm going to buy two this season, one for me and one for my sister, simply because I have no other way of supporting the club as such. And because I am extremely lucky enough to be able to afford to do so. -

Agreed. I think it would be a different matter if the shop were in the town centre or indeed if the ticket office was open.

Ten-in-a-row is the only thing that matters to them this season, rightly or wrongly.

Think I'll order mine now to avoid the surge of last-minute applications.

Does anyone know whether there is a LIVE stream of this game?

New owners. Nothing less will bring those 10k people back now. Its alright getting a full house for a promotion lap of honour but we could barely get 25k Rovers fans on when we were at the top of our game most weeks so week-in-week-out in the second division it isn't going to happen (hence the 5-0 analogy above). For all his faults Mowbray has been the best of a very bad bunch over the past decade, the common denominator is our absentee owners. How we get rid of them I don't have the answers to either mate, I'm afraid. Maybe we just need to have one lucky season...

While its difficult to argue with that Merce, I have actually enjoyed plenty of games over the past few weeks. Maybe I was just so glad to see live football again, albeit on a screen rather than at Ewood I'm delirious?

It is linked to what Butty has said above. Short of winning every game 5-0, being regularly involved in games that finish 3-2 or 4-3 either way isn't a bad way of being entertained really. I do agree with you that winning is everything and loved the '1-0' seasons under Howard Kendall but quite a few people here in Scotland have remarked how often Rovers seem to be involved in high scoring games these days. If I were a visitor to the north west looking for a game to take in (once fans are allowed back) I would certainly be tempted by a potential goal-fest more than I would a tight defensive game.

You either missed the point or I didn't make it very well.
