  2. The Jam - To Be Someone (Must Be a Wonderful Thing)
  3. @arbitro your source is spot on Tony again!
  4. He must be injured then Tony. He was awesome last week.
  5. That's interesting. Maybe someone else is injured then because I couldn't imagine Downing, Evans or Travis being left out if fit.
  6. In my first job in Glasgow we had a tenant called 'Mrs Cubbard'. My Maintenance Manager always called her 'Mrs Press' and after about three weeks of this I had to ask him wtf he was talking about!?
  7. The same three forwards that came on after an hour on Saturday will no doubt be brought on to exploit tired defenders again then. Sounds like Holtby might miss out?
  8. I do like the look of this team. However, I would also like to see Johnson kick seven shades of sh1t out of Morsy if I'm being totally honest.
  9. Aye I knew he had an issue with the booze, he wasn't the only one from that United team that did either.......didn't realise (or remember) that he'd played for the Blades either. Great story Tony, when's the book coming out?
  10. He was a better player with one leg than most are with two.
  11. The Killers - Smile Like You mean It
  12. The Jam - That's Entertainment
  13. Damien Rice - The Animals Were Gone
  14. Good post. I think folk just desperately want the lad to be a £7 million striker, I know I do, because that would be a huge benefit to BRFC.
  15. Amy Winehouse - F*ck Me Pumps
  16. The 1986-90 version of Garner would have held his own in the old first division. This might sound odd given he's our record goalscorer but I always felt as though his finishing wasn't quite top notch. It always amazed me that he rarely took penalties as well. He was okay when he didn't have time to think about it though and in his later years he was good at bringing others into play and a good crosser of the ball. I assume the main reason he didn't play at the top level was because of his reputation for off the field enjoyment, e.g. booze and fags. He scored often enough in cup games against first division teams to not be afraid of their defences anyway.
  17. The Supremes - Whisper You Love Me Boy
  18. Tony Christie - Avenues and Alleyways
  19. Paul Weller - Wings of Speed
  20. The Jam - Girl on the Phone
  21. Elvis Costello - My Funny Valentine
  22. Ben Harper - Both Sides of the Gun
  23. It makes me quite emotional seeing some of these old games. Ewood was a right shithole then but my God I used to love going down there.
