  1. The Jam - Away From the Numbers Paul Weller's first great mod song - and he was only 18 years old when he wrote it. Edit: I think I and darrenrover must have posted at the same time.
  2. The Jam - Life From a Window
  3. There's a world (and word) of difference between influencing and changing though, in fairness
  4. Duran Duran - Skin Trade
  5. I think you could afford to have one of Roy and Buttler in the side, but not both. Especially when there are few reliable grafters elsewhere in the top order. Those two are fine when you are 300/3 but how often has that been the case in recent years?
  6. The Mighty Wah - The Story of the Blues (Part 1)
  7. The Questions - Tear Soup
  8. Yes, this happened too often last season for it not to be true, and the first half on Saturday was the same old story I'm afraid.
  9. Terence Trent D'arby - Billy Don't Fall
  10. He turned 64 yesterday!!
  11. Ronnie Lane - How Come?
  12. The Pioneers - Long Shot Kick de Bucket
  13. Thanks once again Parson
  14. James Blunt - You’re Beautiful ???
  15. I bet Young Boys are relieved to have been drawn against Rangers and not Celtic.......
  16. Rene and Renata - Save Your Love
  17. Paul Weller - Come On, Let’s Go
  18. Floor repeated again. Stone Foundation - I’m Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down
  19. Starsailor - Four to the Floor
  20. Mark Brennan arguably the best of them all
  21. Wood repeated again. Randy Van Warmer - Just When I Needed You Most
  22. Not just in reference to the above post but just a wee reminder that the same word is not meant to be repeatedly used. There must be half a dozen “Spanish” entries there. Roxy Music - Angel Eyes
  23. Yeah I saw that. Rev Kev eh? I was horrified and saddened to see the bickering on the SMC “All Aboard Spam’s Bus” FB page when the lad involved posted the link to his story. Just because the Rev didn’t abuse you doesn't mean he wasn’t an abuser! On a happier note it is lovely to see that Tommy and Mrs Duckworth are both still alive and very well into their 90s! They are a lovely family who had to endure the loss of their son (Andrew) in his teens. He was a very talented footballer if I remember correctly.
