  6. 250 seems about par but I'm not sure about putting a debutant spinner on with a shiny new ball?
  7. The Jam - Strange Town The second in a run of six singles that are as good as anything I've ever heard Down In The Tube Station at Midnight Strange Town When You're Young The Eton Rifles Going Underground Start!
  8. I never really took to The Smiths for some reason. Mind you, I’m not a huge fan of Talking Heads either, save a couple of theirs. Each to their own I suppose.

  13. That’s surely a mock-up Gav? Im struggling to work out how The Smiths could be on the same bill as the Pistols, for a start.
  14. He played for Burnley. He played for Rangers. He comes from a family of racist murderers. Does it get any lower than that? Why on earth anyone should take any notice of what that half-witted scouse cunt says is beyond me.

  18. They can argue it until they are blue in the face but I will call BS on them if they do.
  19. I think you may be underestimating some of the Trust Board members, to be fair. Criticising the club, the owners or any member of staff will be done, as vociferously as necessary, if members give us a mandate to do so. The MoU is a crucial document that actually gives supporters/the Trust more clout than we have had previously. Watch this space.
  20. No, I’m asking what he or she means and offering him or her the chance to make a difference. In any case that isn’t a criticism, it’s an accusation - being ‘in someone’s pocket’ is a pretty strong statement. How is the Trust in Waggott’s pocket because of the MoU? It makes no sense. If he/she is a Trust member he/she should be contacting the Trust with his/her representations, not posting on a messageboard. It’s a membership organisation at the end of the day and answerable to them, not some random person posting on a forum.
  21. Care to explain what you mean by this? The MoU is exactly what we will be bashing him around the head with. The club has clearly breached the agreement by not disclosing the financial situation. Seems there are a handful of posters on here determined to constantly stick the boot in on the Trust for some reason. A couple of points: 1. The Trust is the wrong target and isn’t the enemy here, we all have the best interests of the club at heart. 2. The Trust is manned by volunteers, and certainly in my case I am massively out of pocket in the process. I’ve always said it is very easy to snipe from the sidelines - anybody who thinks they can do better please put yourself forward and let’s share the burden.
  22. Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Every Day I Write the Book
