  6. Funnily enough Jim in a bizarre way I’m glad we are chasing 250 and not 150
  7. There’ll be a couple of twists and turns no doubt but this has been another exhilarating test match. Hopefully we will knock these off without too much fuss tomorrow.
  8. John Martyn - Spencer the Rover
  9. Smudge is just his nickname mate. Bairstow was sarcastically thanking him for giving his wicket away.
  10. They don’t often get it wrong. Lump on the Aussies then!
  11. Bookies have England as slight favourites at this point?!
  12. Justin Hayward - Forever Autumn
  13. This England team has rarely (if ever) failed to get 250 when chasing in the fourth innings, even when they have lost. Its irrelevant what we got in the first innings.
  14. I might have agreed with you 20 years ago Jim but 250 is gettable: I think we’ll be chasing at least 100 more than that tbh
  15. Neil Diamond - Beautiful Noise
  16. Simply Red - I've Had Enough
  17. I think Stokes will cut loose now that Ali has gone (or after lunch maybe).
  18. 250 looks an awful long way away now. COME ON LANCS!!
  19. If he plays sensibly he will still score quickly with that outfield.
  20. Ha ha, understatement of the century there Gav 🙂 Tons for Jonny and Captain Fantastic it is then...
  21. I think they definitely got more than we should have allowed them to, but I reckon 250 was still par or just under par. That bowling spell from Wood was sensational and compensated a little bit for Marsh's additional runs. All that said, we do need at least two of our middle order to score big now.
