  1. How many times is this we have been dicked by 3 or so goals this season? 4 or 5? It can happen occasionally to the best of them but not on a basis as regular as this. Embarrassing.
  2. Elton John - Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word
  3. Big Audio Dynamite - Medicine Show
  4. I think you can if its a goalkeeper
  5. Yeah it showcases his talent Gav. Not sure about the reworking of Private Hell but he’s earned the right to do wtf he wants. Boy George singing You’re the Best Thing and James Morrison singing Broken Stones alone are worth the price of the CD.
  6. Peter Doherty and Frederic Lo - Rock & Roll Alchemy
  7. Brett Emerton also scored on his debut in that Amoruso game. He may have got a couple actually if memory serves me right.
  8. We signed one or two very ordinary players from Rangers during that few years.
  9. The Kinks - Do You Remember Walter?
  10. Unless Diaz money is used.
  11. If he's the lad I think he is, he scored the winner when they beat Roma. He caught my eye when they played Celtic and scored in both games against them too. Could be decent. Edit: It is the same lad and he looks a player.
  12. That was the Rochdale 'Spotlandi' verson Ty 🙂
  13. I'm not quite sure I agree with this Mike. In terms of what the poster is getting irked at with the football scoring records being conflated across the genders, it actually does matter when looking back at Olympic records, to use your example. If the same reasoning was applied to those, I would wager that very few - if any - females would hold world or olympic records, particularly in speed or strength related events. Which is why they have separate categories. Where will all this stuff end?
  14. Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffanys
  15. You'll have seen him more than me Tony but I can see a bit of Faz in there as well.
  16. He was the type of player that transcended club rivalries. I have never heard anyone say a bad word about him, regardless of which club they support. He was also younger than us Tony, which is quite a thought too.
  17. It would take a collapse of almost unprecedented proportions for you not to finish top two now mate. That said, we managed it last season and it is an odd old league.
  18. I watched someone die from pancreatic cancer, it is a bastard of a disease. Vialli was the same age as me too, so way too young to go. He was the type of player who transcended club rivalries. RIP Luca
  19. Yeah and in fairness Longers I wish with all my heart that you were saying that to us about JDT.
  20. Not many survive pancreatic cancer. He managed to beat it once but not twice. One of the trailblazers of the premier league, never liked Chelsea but him, Gullitt and Zola were eminently likeable players.
  21. Gianluca Vialli, dead at 58. One of those players that transcended football rivalry. RIP
  22. The Supremes - Whisper You Love Me Boy
