  1. Give it another 15 years and the only people able to watch a game live more than once will be Arab royal families, Rishi Sunak and Taylor Swift. The Ice Hockey world cup is going on in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and even though it's a smaller sport, I've seen loads of fans in Prague. Normal people too. The stadiums look packed and the atmosphere great.
  2. Ashley Phillips had better have his head screwed or else he'll be affected by this weak mindset.
  3. Just read that now. Brentford vs. Bournemouth in Saudi Arabia or Shanghai anyone?
  4. Signing a huge shirt sponsor deal with yourself isn't half dodgy.
  5. Brighton, Ipswich, Coventry, Bolton and bounced back from despair and seem to be on the up. No reason we can't if just get Venkys out.
  6. True, I should have been more specific. I mean about being a massive super club, one of the big 6 etc.
  7. We do need 7 or 8 good players, but....... it's as likely as me winning the grand national by just running without a horse. We are talking about the Rao family and Steve Waggott here.
  8. For me it's the fact Spurs fans think they're a top club despite not winning anything for years. Top clubs get on with trying to win and not brag about losing. Neither us or Burnley swagger about gobbing off like a bunch of fools about how great we are.
  9. I live in Coventry, a former employer of Waggott. Waggott will never make the right appointment and screw up the club.
  10. As if we'll get 7 or 8 players. If we do, none will be of any quality. Half will be crap 20 year old premier League players
  11. Start by stopping all hair dye supplies to Blackburn and which area he lives in.
  12. Tottenham fans are singing "Are you watching Arsenal?" since Haarland scored against them. What a sad small club mentality.
  13. With the nepotism in football he probably is related. Looks like he did well though. Shame he's not in our team as I'd get all nostalgic.
  14. I'd love Jimmy Anderson to try his hand at bowling coach for Lancashire primarily, and then join the England set up. He'll go straight into the England set up though. I think working with the young lads in the county game rather than just the top guys would be better in the long run.
  15. Last day in Prague after seeing Rammstein again. Fucking amazing as usual and played a few of my favourites. My camera work is pretty shoddy, but never mind.
  16. It's easy to win when you're playing like you have a Football Manager data editor and almost limitless money but you cock it up massively too. I can't see someone like Owen Coyle winning the treble, or anything if he took over Man City this season. Pep built that all conquering Barcelona team but since then has found it pretty easy. I honestly think he'd struggle to win/challenge for the title if he left and took over Aston Villa or Spurs.
  17. Administration would be the best for the club but that would make a lot of people unemployed. They are the real victims of Venkys
  18. He will probably be a manager for keeping the team in lower mid table, but not the guy for a play off or promotion push. Perfect for Venkys.
  19. Ok, now we can take a deep breath and prepare for the same thing next season.
  20. This is so bad. We just know Birmingham will get an opportunity.
  21. Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer would be another appropriate song.
  22. And there will be fans still supporting the owners as we battle for a play off place in League 2 in a few seasons time. That's what annoys me, the absolute subservience and delusion that we should not aspire for better than a load of poo. There's some 1984 double think going on in some parts.
  23. He'll be here until we get relegated again next season. Goodness knows who will come in. Probably George Galloway, Mr. Blobby or Paolo Di Canio.
  24. At Leicester racecourse, with Coventry fans. Hopefully we'll do better than my sister at picking the horses.
