Clutter on our pavements
Norbert Rassragr replied to 47er's topic in I Can't Believe It's Not Football
It is/was the little silver cans that were all over the ground here. Loads of them, as if Raheem Sterling had a massive party in Foleshill Road. The only really clean area is Earlsdon but that's the really middle class area of Coventry. -

Can't wait to see that 15 year old make his first start......... -
Seneca seem to still exist, but they've probably moved on and invested in different companies after Venky's told them no. I don't think they'd be involved should it all go tits up. If they did want to return, maybe they'd pick up the pieces at a cheaper price if we went into administration or something.

Brian Clough's achievements stand up to all of Pep's. Though the financial playing field was not as imbalanced then, I doubt Pep could take a Burnley or Leeds and instantly get them challenging for the league without spending billions replacing the current squad. -

No thanks. He was mediocre at Coventry City and worse at Brum. That would be a real Wes Brown type of signing. -
What an absolute idiot. My feeling is similar to Gavlar's, and this Nathan guy would fit in well in Airstrip 1. He'd be right there claiming we've never been at war with East Asia and Emmanuel Goldstein is the source of every problem. Essentially we must always assume that people are stupid when it comes to Venky's and their ownership, and are inclined to be happy with less.

Same in a lot of Coventry. Fag ends, energy drink cans and nitrous oxide canisters all over the pavement in many areas. Sunflower seed shells too. -
You can shaft business partners, but when the HMRC are being short changed then you're in very bad shape. Even The Joker paid his taxes. You would think the threat of a winding up order would be major news in the area but once again so called 'journalists' have been complacent. 8f there is a winding up order, I expect the Raos to simply let us go bust. They've been so negligent and aloof, they would probably not realise if we did do a Bury. Or their arrogance and entitlement would make it go that way out of spite.

How has Hyam gone from great to awful? He's been blamed for loads of errors since he came back from injury. -

No Sammie means no win. I can see a humiliation happening here. And then a relegation scare at the end of the season. -
Wow, I'm surprised.

Fujitsu is a partner of Infosys, who is owned by Rishi Sunak's in laws. Make of that what you will, but I doubt the likes of the BBC or The Times will try to look too closely at this.

And to think a few wanted him here when he played. He's a terrible man, and a nasty player. -

I don't do Twitter, so what has that steaming jobby freaked out about now? -
Right now, I expect some sort of Brighton or Bolton situation that leads us to relegation, and then a few shady owners before someone good at least makes the club respectable again. Sadly we can't expect anything normal to happen since we're owned by a family of spoilt, privileged, neglectful, aloof morons who have no right to be involved in a car boot sale, let alone a football club. It seems only some sort of catastrophe that kills the entire Rao family will get rid of them.

Now we have an idea who our next manager will be.

Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

Another day, another loss. It is hard to tell how much is down to the manager and D of F, and how much is Maggot and the Chicken f-ckers, but the latter group need to go first. Venkys must go now, even if we have to do a Brighton and drop a division before decent people come in.
