January Transfer window
Norbert Rassragr replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
An incisive striker with pace would be nice, but we all know what'll happen. Maybe a desperate loan or two from the Premier League, and possibly Cantwell being sold. We can't be promoted as that'll bring more scrutiny to the Rao family. -

Mark Robins would probably be my choice if he wants to move to London. Used to a tight budget and his teams play a decent kind of football. And I expect Leeds to get loans from Salzburg and Leipzig now they're part of the Red Bull family. Maybe they'll get Checo Perez from the F1 team, since they want to move him on 😄. -
He's been a handbrake at best for any club he's worked at. He played his part in the decline of Coventry City and Charlton.

O'Neill is probably the next Steve Bruce. OK up to a point, but no top level manager. And definitely not an international manager that can win a trophy. -
I've only got the Painkiller album, but it's the most gloriously over the top classic metal album I've heard. It's great.

Sounds really awkward and a bit like David Brent. I don't have anything to do with Twitter, but I can say it won't convince the fans. As I type, they're losing again. At least the rugby union team are top of their table. -

Oh dear. You can guess the score at the Coventry Vs Cardiff game right now. -

They're furious. Not one I know thinks Lampard is capable of adequacy. I'll give him until next Christmas/New year. Every game will be judged. -
John Eustace - our head coach

It's been a while coming, but my friends won't be happier. I doubt it'll be quite as spectacular as Rooney at Birmingham, but I'd still put a £5 on relegation. -
John Park head of recruitment

I can see Bassini or Ridsdale being CEO when Waggott finally retires. Though Gestede would be a typically mad and useless appointment. -

I watched Coventry vs. Northampton in the standing area yesterday. The weather was horrendous, and we were supposed to have the best of it in the Midlands. -

For what it's worth, the feeling in Coventry is that it's all but announced that Lampard is some sort of Head Coach rather than manager. -

They poach the best teenagers, coaches and suchlike, they have a squad of superstars and they have infinite money. Sports washing City should have enough depth to put up with a few injuries. -

Sack the manager! 😁 There's something off behind the scenes at the Etihad. To go from an all conquering machine to losing 4 or maybe 5 in a row is a hell of a drop. -

Maybe he's still living in the Midlands, and it works better for his family. I'll look out for him today when I go to Aldi. -

I'm at work until 2, and I don't feel I've missed anything. I only bother with England when the tournaments start. -

A team bottom or near the bottom of the table and having a stinker of a season? 2-0 to Portsmouth. -

Absolutely right SG. He just has the feel of a colourless, banal guy when being a pundit or a manager. Living in Coventry, I know the fans are livid with this decision. Robins has guided them through some atrocious times and they love him for that. If Frank does get the job, he'll not get long before the fans will want him out. -

Frank Lampard is odds on to be the next Coventry City manager. Apparently he and the current owner are friends from what I have heard.
