Agree with all of that. No doubt the team sent out today was never going to suit him - zero energy and mobility. He still showed glimpses. Watching Brereton today confirmed he will never be a top player at this level, certainly not a £6m player. We all want him to succeed but he just doesn’t have the technical ability or football intelligence.

I think Dolan’s days as a starter are numbered too. Very naive today. Not a criticism of the lad, he made a great start but he’s 18 and expectations need to be managed.

Well that was crap. Not much else to say. Move onto the next with our better players back.

The midfield is woeful today.

Brereton looks poor and off the pace. Evans looks like he’d rather be playing for NI. Otherwise pretty solid. Defence looks organised and a few nice touches from the boy wonder. Buckley needs to grow into the game. Even so far.

I would have Williams in this team over Lenihan. He looks so clumsy.

Not in our league, but Tosin isn’t even in the squad for city’s carabao cup game tonight. Looking as though he’s no future there. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on loan at another championship side.

TM confirms Travis will be out for a few months. Bad bad news and surely its a priority to get someone in to fill that role, particularly when Johnson/Evans/Holtby are all made of glass. Not been impressed with Davenport at all in the 15 minutes he's played in two years.

An 'axe' type player would be ideal in this current side. I still remember that game Mokoena beat up Chelskis midfield. Jose was not happy. They were the day!
