Half the issue with Cantwell is the dross he’s playing with. Played a few excellent passes and the move gets broken down or messed up instantly. Sign a decent striker and it will make him look far better.

I can foresee nothing happening for 3.5 weeks then the usual last day scramble to secure 1 or 2 crap loans. With Park leaving and the shambolic way we run scouting/transfers, it’s hard to believe there has been any sort of plan in place to identify targets before the window. Look at other clubs making moves already. Would love to be proved wrong but this is Venkys and precedent tees us all up for disappointment.
