v Millwall (h) - 8/3/22
USABlue replied to Uddersfelt Blue's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The way I see the rest of the season going is more of this, dropping like a stone. THEN and only then, when playoffs are ALMOST unattainable our results will pick up with a winning run and come up just short of the playoffs. This accomplishes two things for the Lemon Drizzle club. Don't have to actually go to work by managing in the Prem. Tony gets a new and improved contract because of the late run. Several more years of mediocrity and missed opportunities. ToMo thinkin Phew that was close I almost helped get us promoted. If our Indian owners understood even a little bit abiut foitball surely they would be on the phone asking pertinent questions as to just why Tony is oicking players as he does. In lieu of Nyambe he has to sub Buckley cos he does not have the gonads to pull senior players. only pulls the young uns who won't ask him why. Pussy. -

Not bad guess though huh. Prediction for our next few games is the same. Thank god ToMo was SMART enough to know not to waste money on a striker. So before the ink is dry on signing Giles a lad with a peach of a cross, Mowbary informs us we don't need a centre forward type. We will just keep pumping balls in to our 5 ft 2in forwards. Pur genius Tony pure fuckin genius, this bloke is really takin the piss i6ut of the owners he is he really is. -

Mowbary said he was the best player in training and he is a striker and we are struggling for goals so no way Mobary picks him. Not up front anyway. -

Our management team is just not that smart. Winning matches is not the priority here. Personal comfort zones are. Nice cushy mid table championship gig. -

Find meself feeling much the same way. ToMo, his zany selections)tactics, his lack of proper transfer activity in January, injuries, Hull debacle and Rothwell saga have put paid to our dreams. -

Some hope that it is not too serious, looked season ending to me but fingers crossed we have him back for the run in. -
I can still see it. If only. Wow what a heartbreaking miss.

So pleased with that show, ither than the missing of gilt edged chances. How good is young Van Hecke. If QPR are the best of the rest, we have kittle to fear. Hope re-instated.

You been in Mercer's wine cellar?
-
Mowbary has destroyed the lads confidence keep asking him to do what he is not suited for. Ended him as a player.
-
Early kick off, don't do well with this either, Sky, and must win all points to one thing, Roveritis. A loss. Roveritis is a medical condition where by the brain gives you hope only to be smashed into despair. I can predict. Rovers NIL. QPR, something but us NIL for sure

v Sheffield Utd (a) - 23/2/22 - Match Preview
USABlue replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Vale's never getting a game with ToMo, unless it's fullback or someother stupid thing. Mowbary bought a striker who he claimed was the best player in training then refuses to let him play so what chanch does young Vale have..... NONE. What is erong with this manager if ours, why ih why does he persist with things he knows don't work. Why does he hate Nyambe? Why does he firce the Gallagher out wide, why does he even play Gally. We are done, we were after the Hull debacle. I said 8th to 10th, at the moment I think that may have been a bit optimistic. -
It is for us.

Not a cat in hells chance if us getting anything from this game. Watched the blades recently and they looked a lot better than us at this moment in time. 3-0 the Blades. -

Then at 1:45 while getting ready ref discovers he left his wooly knickers home, not fancying chilly nuts at 2:15 he calls the game off. Sad for the fans who have wasted travel time and money, and at no small risk to themselves according to weather reports. -

Surely, and I can not think of a good explanation why not, this should weigh very heavily on the ref's decision. Clears him some what from responsibility should a player get hurt. Points the blaming fingers at the managers rather than the ref then. Has footy just gotten too soft and girly like? Anyone remember the state of the pitch when we played Luton the day Keeley sent Fucillo sp? into orbit. I remember many many pitches that were in a horrible state but games went ahead. -

Seems to me some are just looking for sticks to beat the club with. This was a refs decision so unless we briwn bagged him to make that decision it is sweet FA to do with Rovers.
