  1. Thought Mowbary was oblivious of our position?
  2. Must agree, he keeps going this way and we lose him. Looked a class above at times. Love the way he ghosts in to steal the ball
  3. 100% expecting it jim.
  4. You were proved right.
  5. Carter just Mowbary doing what he does, work on breaking down the young uns confidence.
  6. Would think Dolan deserved a start. Plonker Mowbary.
  7. Early on, shortly after he had made the forced breakthrough. He was dripped a few times, keeping his place when he started going sideways and back more than his usual turn and look forward. Mowbaryized.
  8. Mowbarys contract is probably already drafted simply because it us the path of least resistance, just the easiest thing to do to take care of their baby. A baby that will stay a baby with no growth under their ownership.
  9. With good reason Gav, take out.Duffys deliberate petulant own goal(s) and we stay up that season.
  10. Thanks to Mowbary and his anti attacking roles for those two. Both were very forward thinking players who were dropped often until they reigned it in. Blame Mowbary me.
  11. Does anybody.Chaddy, he's a blithering idiot he de-tuned that group of players, probably confusing them with some Mowbaryisms. I could be wrong but my money is on his interference causing the drop off when all it needed is to tell them this lot are.nothing.special.just go do wbat you did last time out.
  12. Well well well. Just two short weeks ago that same outfit made me proud, felt like we might have tirned a corner. Energy, passion, commitment mixed in with football showing a real attacking intent. Fast forward two weeks WTF happened. I don't know but I'd bet dollars to donuts Mowbary us central to the liusy performance. We looked lime a team that never played before. Gone was the closing, gone was the hustle gone was the forward thinking footy all being replaced by a group that look like thet never played together before. WTF has happened to Kaminski's kicking, looks like he's watched David Raya's home video of how to kick it into touch. My gut feel is Mowbary tried to re-invent the way they played two weeks ago.and just confused everyone. Nyambe was completely out of sorts.and I am convinced the only way he's staying here is if we get a new boss, we won't so bye bye Ryan. Good loint in isolation but we really did make Bristol look good. They seemed to be set defensively every time like the knew what we were going to.do. Clarkson when you chasing the game? F off. Was hoping for a lot more after last time, should have known better. Thought the ref was quite a homer too. Inthought the challenge that injured Poveda was a yellow along with anfew other very dodgy tackles on our lads. They seemed to get some soft calls. Blue n.White.tinted.specs? Maybe.
  13. Yes it does and don't discount what it does to the player(s) too. Mobary has regulatly done this though to shoehorn in the lemon drizzle club members that olay for us.
  14. Another way to keep the little clubs little and the big clubs big.
  15. No just moron. If it's not pig it's not bacon.
  16. I have a scary feeling he will.
  17. Hey old mate,.I'd take him in a NY minute. Not so sexy but as a football fan I respect the way you lot play. I could enjoy that as a fan. Organised, hard working, 100% commitment, sone really good attacking play very direct. I'd take him.
  18. I can not remember when I last enjoyed a game at Eeood that much. Fight hustle never giving up. Some flair amd creativity mixed in Inwas.oroud to be a Rovers fan again. As for Mowbary, I suggested it was upto the players to turn this around, to hell with ToMo. OK Tony oicked the twam but I donfeel the way we played was the players themselves pulling up their socks.rather than direction from the boss. I would live to think that this was the day the penny dropped and we are uowardly mobile from here on out. Souness had a day like that, Lee had one, Kendall had one Inwould like to think, 4 years later, that yesterday was Mowbary's but the realist in me says he'll feel job done and revert to type for the next game. Be great if we could out in that sort of performance every week. I thiught we should have had a penalty too but it's denial.seemed.to galvanise the crowd and the players and really got things stirred up. Khadra must have been told something at halftime cos he definately.was.better defensively 2nd half. Well pleased all round.
  19. Watershed game. It's up to the players this one. They need to have their own huddle, screw Mowbray and go out and fight to regain some pride. Just go out there and show us you care. Rise above Mowbray go out there and fix it, at the very least look like you are trying to. Hard to call this one, narrow win or another humuliating defeat.
  20. Maybe if we gave ours more chances instead of loanees perhaps it would look different. I think young Wharton and Carter look good, certainley promising and did they not only get a crack cos Mowbrays hand was forced somewhat. I think the way he handles our youngsters serves to break down their confidence and remove motivation.
  21. Can't quite out my finger on it but Wilder concerns me.. Like he popped his cork and only had the one pop in him. I just feel he was in the right place and situation at the right time and will never see such highs again. I think Ainsworth and Neill may be better options for us simply because I have the impression both have more of a fire in their belly. Still I have been horribly wrong on managers before.
  22. Any rumblings, whispers, tea leaf readings anywhere sugesting even ever so slighty that we may be rid of this destructive force that is Mowbary very soon. Very very soon, like before I wake up tomorrow.
