  1. We crack me up. So Haary doin well at a league one club and we are positively salivating. If he was not iurs and we were looking to sign him we'd be moanin it's only league one. Looks to me like he's woke up and smelled the coffee. Was not doin it here, by some accounts a.poor attitude. Bides well fornus if he can get fit, mentally right so.e confidence and come back and have a right good go. If he chooses to. chances are if his contracts up he'll be off. Right now he is olaying for his footballing future, do or die right now.
  2. Sounds good,.somewhat,.great going forwards. Defending? Meh. Don't we need a defender first? I am assuming we had the good sense to include an out should Pickering get seriously injured during his loan period. If he is sidelined he would come to our medical staff for treatment right?
  3. Did I say we did, I said Mowbray.isnunder achieving with this squad. From what I have read there are plenty on here who think we do have a better squad. Which are? A few, Players out of position., Selection of favourites first, regardless of ability or form, inability to organise a defence. Too cautious. Tinkers too much to suit the opposition, rather than play to our strengths. Poor handling of players, man management.
  4. You are at the wrong end of the pitch to highlight reasons for us not being in the playoffs. It's the stupid defending or lack of that has seen us not get in the top six.
  5. Bit irrelevant, all that really matters is could manager Mr AN Other do better than Mowbray with our current squad. This is what many people feel, me included, is that Mowbray is under achieving with the players at his disposal and there a many reasons for that.
  6. I don't understand why some just can not admit they were wrong. They will even twist the truth, conveniently miss anything good but never do the same with anything bad. Douglas has been one, he's imoroved, some have made mention but some cling to their he is shit evaluation by highlighting him getting skinned (once, lost his footing) almost giving a goal up, nearly giving away a penalty but then no mention if him definitely saving a goal with a brilliant goal line clearance. Takes a proper man to just hold up his hand and admit to being wrong ir even just they were hasty in in arriving at their decision. Leaves me dumbstruck.
  7. I think he will be shoe horning Bennett in somewhere sonthat is highly unlikely.
  8. Nah he was shit before he even kicked a ball, least that's what I read on here. Very mature player for his age. He'll drop a clanger.sooner ornlater but looks solid enough. May even have.made.Darragh.up his game.too
  9. If so he was closely followed by Dolan what a livewire that kid is. Nob End must be absolutely kicking themselves. Luton looked genuinely worried about him and may have forced the sub. Tie him down he's gonna be great if he keeps his head screwed on.
  10. 2 points saved with that block at the end. Why was it disallowed offside or player coming back into play?.
  11. Ugly game,.difficult opponents, inconsistent ref but a beautiful 3 points. Put em in the bag and move on. Are we close enough tonthe play offs for another Death Spiral or will we win again first.
  12. I just hope uiung Branthwaite can out this behind him and not let it get into his head thereby causing him to hesitate or second guess himself going into a similar situation.
  13. And a little bit of extra momentum added to Dack by shoulder push just a little added oomph, I said at the time if not for that Dacky may have been not so badly hurt.
  14. Mmmm, must be me,.maybe it's cos we won but I read a lot of negative comments on the game as a whole, I enjoyed it. Not like a classic or was awesome but fair enough entertainment for two average 2nd Division sides.
  15. Did not Warnock call Diouf (the spitting one) a RAT when he was playing for us, only to sign him not long after.
  16. You got it. The Mowbray go round, Rinse and repeat.
  17. Brereton, of course,if it was Dacky he'd have passed. Gally or Ben he won't pass to.
  18. Not sure how progressive is intended to be used in this context. Progressive how? On what point(s) are we arguing progrssion? As a football match two teams with different styles I thought it was entertaining enough. Good tempo fair amount of chances and some drama was reasonable enough to me I enjoyed it. Mowbray out.
  19. Yeah ok then, nowt to do with great saves and boro missing chances plus some resolute defending. Let's hang it all on that high boot, happens all the time one way or another something is missed or given.that MIGHT have changed a games outcome. We did not deserve to win really but to hang everything on what did not happenseems like trying too hard to put us down.
  20. How right you were. Some soft ones given for boro and muggings overlooked. I don't think it was a pen. Foot was high nent his head down, was one of ours in there too, gladnhe didn't catch him. What a win I expected a battering which on the balance of play and chances we got. Smash and grab for us for a change. Held on very well after the goal and probably edged it. Nice couple of Dack moments which will help his confidence that one pass was Buckleyesque. Elliot needs to put his hair do back, for the longest time I thought he was Dolan, even accused the commentator of being a dumbass for not knowing who was who. Fantastic 3 points. Young Bucko, well if there is anyone interested in stumping up millions for him,.snatch their hand off and try not to be seen sniggering before the papers are signed. He's not good enough. Loved the way Mowbray rewards the goalscorer and player who made it. Yank em. That'll teach em.
  21. Supposed to ne on ESPN+ but just keeps saying event about to start.
  22. Agree, McCarthy a better bet for success for us than Mowbray. Ask Ipswich fans how happy they are for hounding him out.
