  1. Have to agree with that. Though Big Club tripped up Boro. Probably backfire on us.
  2. Fair do's he admitted it would have been harsh on Stoke.
  3. It has been for a long time for some of us, a long time.
  4. Thing with Rothwell he seems to be playing a lot deeper lately, is this him or is it Mowbrays orders. He can't get the positioning to start those lovely runs cos he seems to be picking up the ball in our half rather than half way in theirs, why is that?
  5. Yawn, Rovers 0 Stoke 1 we have 70% possesion 19 shots and Stoke have 1. Dack has to play, fornone he is the only is one Armstrong ever passes to. Does not like to give it to Big Ben or gally but will dacky.
  6. Perhaps I am but I am not going iff stats just what I see. I like the kid, a lot of but watching he gets me all excited, on the edge of my seat but I end up feeling ket down, more often than not. Mowbray is not his friend. Bottom line is this, we got a young lad with speed, flair, quick feet and a go for goal mentality for free. Those attributes can not be coached into a player BUT with the wrong manager/coach can easily get lost, this is my worry. He needs to make it impossible for Mowbray to keave him out.
  7. Only way Nyambe is sticking around is if Mowbray doesn't
  8. Onenof my faviurite non Rovers players of that era. RIP Colin, thanks for the memories.
  9. Irrefutable evidence Mowbary is going nowhere. If Venkies are again opening purse strings for him the they clearly have no interest in potting him.
  10. If he was a boxer one would be happy that the kid has terrific handspeed but sadly lacks a knockout punch. Sums up Dolan, quick feet a million step overs amd fancy footwork but how often do we see him actually beat a man. The better defenders have him sussed. That said I love the kid but he needs end product, he's fast and tricky but he seldom does any real damage.
  11. Pot him now. Put DJ in charge until a top quality replacement can be found. I manager with recent track record of success at this level or above. Not a dinosaur who may have got a team promoted once then was ho hum after that. Coyle type comes to mind. Just get it done Venkies.
  12. True, it better be. I did get a bit carried away. But still he doesn't do much does he?
  13. Surely one that can stay awake for 90 mins would help achieve that.
  14. Sadly we will not get to see if you are right
  15. I disagree chaddy, look at the bidy langauge if some of our senior players, head shakin, drooped shoulders, coming iut after halftime noticably worse than when we went in. These players are not idiots they know the man is making mistakes.
  16. Perhaps you should have said if Mowbary would wake up to be potted. That picture of him snoozing doing the rounds has angered me, it is disgraceful he should be gone Monday morning just for that with immediate effect. See in my job and I would imagine 99.999% of all others sleeping on the job is instant dismissal. He is the head man at Rovers, we are losing and he takes a fuckin nap the man's a disgrace. Done with him get him out.
  17. How bad was it, I stopped watching with 15 mins left, I don't think I have ever done that before. What a useless keeper. That aside we still did not score. Donny looked far more dangerius than us. Disgraceful from the grass all the way up. ToMo gotta go but we all know he won't until it is far too late and all the best iut if work mamagers have new jobs. Today is a new low to me. We have been worse but we still had players gave all for the shirt.
  18. Dickie Guy, heroics against Leeds in the next round too. Damn the cup was great then wasn't it? Hereford turning Newcastle over. Special days them.
  19. Well done Chorley, bit of an easy win that. Cloughie must be turnin in his grave.
  20. What a great day that was. Non league Wimbledon beat First Division Burnley at the dome. Never saw such long faces in the pubs round Accy that night. Was fun.
  21. Sorry in Buckley with the exception of one or two all too brief flashes I don't see it. Harvey Elliot I see it often. I just have not seen what the fuss could be about. Surely if he was the next big thing he would be orchestrating games more than he has to date.
  22. What made you become a fan of lil ol Rovers instead of the big teams that NBC saturate.TV with over here. Given the stress and heartache this team has had me endure for 50+ years I almost envy.your position. The Prem win and years leading up to it I had no knowledge of over here. There was zero coverage of English footy back then.and having lost touch with everone I had no clue. I did get to see the Final win over Spurs and our Demolition of the Dingles due to a fine group of folks on here, one of us would get the tape, VCR correctly formatted, was it you EiT? .and we would maolmit all ove.America,.watch it and forward it to the next.fan...Giid days.on this board back then, quite a camraderie. Fitting that my return coincides with our demise since. This internet has been a blessing my American wife.does not get that I am up at the crack of dawn to watch a team I have not seen live since 84. Love it just love it...Hate it just hate it.
