Forest v Rovers Sat 20 Feb 3pm

I find the number of “injuries “ very interesting. How many injuries do , for example, Burnley get ? They have a team who knows what it’s doing, a back room team who keeps them fit physically , a manager who does his best by them....and a mental fitness that they WANT to be a part of . What do we have ? Hamstrings, calves, groins , “ lack of match fitness “ , some played way before they’re fit ( Dack Travis ) ...then there’s Ayala “ I’ll play when I like “.......good clubs , run well , managed well , have players in good number who actually WANT to play ....if you were Gallagher, Nyambe, Brererton, Davenport , Butterworth, Rothwell would you want to play under the current “ regime”.......they don’t bust a gut to put the shirt on because he’s not worth playing for...and it’s easier than being hung out to dry The whole mentality is WRONG ... the whole mentality is Mowbray -

...too true....but WILL fans return to Ewood with Mowbray still in post .....I will not be one ...I am at the point where I detest him. -

My only hope is a dressing room “ revolt “....Mulgrew clearly had words which forced his exit......Maybe Lenihan’s “ injury “ came out of his mouth....they have to appreciate they are being ruined, laughed at, vilified ....all because of him....come on boys....if ever there was a day to fight for a career , the shirt and the club...it’s today . -

....no longer any pain....that he’s what he has reduced me to. He is a very poor coach, a poor judge of a player ....and a man who cannot tell the truth... honest, wonderful human being Tony......a liar “I will not be a burden “ , like the rest of his men. Disgusted ...cannot stand to look at him . -

Not watching this one...I got off at the last stop ...I didn’t fancy the rest of the journey......I couldn’t cope with images of Mowbray ..miserable, hunched, mute.....relying on your updates on here ....it’s less painful.....judging by your comments....bet Gallagher and Brererton wish they had got off too . Employers have a duty of care.....what Mowbray has done to these 2 is scandalous..... -

No interest....he’s still here ..... road to nowhere continues . -
Wow.....what depressing words.....clearly, he’s lost it......someone at the club should be putting him out of his misery. The dressing room needs to have some balls ....

When you’re employed in a field of work you love it’s sometimes very difficult to let go ...but anyone with an ounce of common sense or sensitivity knows when time is up....you see it in people’s eyes, you hear it in what is no longer said , you sense it in your everyday dealings with your colleagues. .... I’m pretty certain Mowbray doesn’t spend his days trawling these pages but....he must know / feel / sense / hear from anyone employed by the club that the respect has gone. ... I can’t feel sorry for him....I feel an anger that we lifted him from dire straits following his Coventry debacle ( yes he “ got “ us promoted...but, in reality, he couldn’t fail ) .... He stands as a man of dignity...and courage ...and sometimes the most courageous thing to do is admit failure ....yes failure.....8 windows, no style of play....I don’t need to continue to list ....IF he is that man of dignity and courage he would go, for the sake of the club.....but maybe it’s a myth ....not only can he not set up a defence....he can’t honour his word ....a sad day

Barnsley v Rovers, Wed 17th Feb

So much frustration on here. ....but, it is what it is We are a broken club...run by Indians, managed by cowboys ....yet we are unable to express the heartbreak, disgust and embarrassment that we currently feel. ...any chance of contacting India ? ....any chance of Twitter to Pasha ? .....any chance of a written response from Waggott? .....any chance of Bayes or Sharpe really being the journalists they are meant to be ? NONE .....these are dark days .....we are in limbo and Mowbray and his merry men know they are safe...but, when these dark Covid days end ..he will be charged as guilty.....Ewood will be empty...it will be a shell .... -

Some seem to be surprised by the change of events second half....after 45 minutes they went into a tactician.....we went into Mowbray -
His team mirrors him....broken, clueless, shapeless....lacking in intelligence. How those players feel right now .....rudderless...anyway....on a brighter note, at least Nyambe will have enjoyed his evening .

Sadly, I’m at the stage where I couldn’t give a toss who he picks....the fact he’s picking it means he’s still here.... -
Still reeling from Mowbray’s LT interview where his words used to surprise me but they now make me weep ....I would take a defeat tonight if it hastened his departure and that of his weary back room staff. I come to this decision based on current league position , the teams yet to face...Brentford, Swansea, Watford, Norwich...and others who will be far better coached and managed to face a run in than we are .... He will be nowhere near the top 6 and all we are doing is treading water...if we get rid now there’s a chance of contracts being signed, of has beens being removed , of a fan base entering Ewood again ....do you remember the promotion game ... “ We’re on our way back “......we are most definitely...on our way back to mediocrity, feeble acceptance....and don’t tell me no manager would take it ....as @Mattyblue said this job is a gig and a half.... I will take defeat at Barnsley tonight.....my God....just how far have we fallen

Well...the morning after the night before.... kaminski....looking at the carnage in front of him Nyambe ....looking for the exit door Lenihan.....looking a cross between a pub player and a half decent defender Branthwaite...looking a little boy in a man’s body Douglas ....looking finished Travis ....looking unfit and too heavy Davenport ....looking bemused Rothwell .....looking, as ever, a 1 game in 5 man Dack ....looking a mere shadow of Bradley Gallagher ......looking for the “ How to play right back “ manual Armstrong....looking for no one, head down Mowbray.....looking for the answers Venus and Lowe....looking in the same place as Mowbray Venkys.....looking away We, the faithful, looking for help .....
-
This terrible lock down is the reason why turnstiles are not turning at Championship clubs ...post lockdown Mowbray will be the reason why turnstiles will not be turning at Ewood . By the time Venkys address this current manager our fan base will be diminished beyond words .. who will watch “ that “..even the one eyed have closed it .

Chaddy .....I cannot believe that you feel this message board goes “ into meltdown after 10 points from 4 games “ ......get a grip man ....Most posts convey a far bigger picture... the journey, the slow build, the inability to progress a player, limited tactical awareness, square pegs / round holes, a team which mirrors his demeanour, some weary signings, a slow death , jam tomorrow ......bugger all to do with the last 4 games .....where have you been for the last 3 plus years ???????? Mowbray is one lucky man that Ewood is empty....he’s had far too easy a ride .... don’t be sucked in with the last 4 games....did you actually WATCH the performances ??????

Leonard......apart from my glaring error of Wearside for Teeside.....I’m not sure where the dishonesty is ??.....I haven’t mentioned dishonesty in any way......just poor judgement in the circumstances we found ourselves .

Thanks for the correction Herbie.....posted this at 0-0 ....should have realised my error ...then the goal came !
