To move on….Poor management today from JDT …the fact that Brererton was on the pitch at kickoff ….and as he continued his pathetic play not to be removed …sackable. Sad statement, I believe Dack won’t / shouldn’t be in a Rovers shirt again . Diaz will be robbing some poor owners somewhere Ayala off the wage bill, Thomas returned to Huddersfield , Mola returned…all these are positives .. Whether JDT stays or goes I just hope he’s learned something..this is a bloody tough league which needs balls on the field and balls in the dugout .. If I’m honest we’re not good enough, not equipped enough to take a play off place..but….as the young lads will have gained much from these tough months I hope we can build and develop

What an immensely sensible post! The commercial dept at Ewood would be advised to use your thoughts ..as they have few . You think out of the box, you write with the needs of the demographic..you do it , I assume , with a built in love and hope for the long term survival of the club. Brererton arrived raw , lacking in confidence, still finding himself, poor touch , no football brain…did everything on instinct , not brave in the tackle. Having had a few hours to reflect in last night’s non performance I am less angry but more concerned. If I’m honest would I either expect us or like us to be in The Premier League next season….No ! …apart from taking the money and running back to the Championship ..to possibly rebuild I see no merit in promotion. With JDT at the front of operations ( on the field ) and Broughton and co at the running / admin side of things …we would be hammered every week .Now, I can take “ hammerings “ if we learn from it …We don’t ! Tommason …..Time and again dire selection, the fact he can’t / won’t play a midfield 3 when it’s crying out for it, continually slow build up from the back, sad reliance on Brereton and Gallagher when neither is anywhere near good enough or fit enough , and the final nail for me …what he says never matches what we do …..Teams mirror their manager ( Clough , Ferguson , Shankley , Kendall, , Hughes )……this one does …nice lads not a lot of idea . Broughton …Mola ? Hurst ? Morton ? …and to top it all ..the non window in January due to incompetence …we don’t learn and with the current , non aspirational personnel at Ewood we won’t . With Morton unplayable, Buckley injured and Wharton seemingly out of favour were clearly scraping the barrel in midfield…. If Brittain is fit my move would be JRC to partner Travis …at least he shows guts, doesn’t shirk the tackle and plays for the shirt .

Gutted…hate, hate hate defeat ..however… POSITIVES ..I saw a fight / pride in the shirt that I haven’t seen for some time..…. Travis, Szmodics have returned to form at the perfect time… Hyam will prove to be a brilliant signing , JRC played like I never imagined possible , young Carter has a bright future , Pears justified his selection … We gave a great account of ourselves on national TV…and rather be beaten by a top goal than penalties….( and dreadful referee) NEGATIVES……a young lad who’s more concerned with himself( how he looks, how he struts ) than the shirt …gave away the goal… NOT for the first time this season . Surely JDT had observed their midfield were gaining strength by the minute and weak Morton was not the answer… How Gallagher continues to pull on a shirt and gets praise on this message board 😳 the “ man” is weak, no football brain, no killer instinct…just bad! I’m glad you thought we “ looked a bit daft” Matty. These “ organised “ protests , meetings , letters , radio involvement were in an attempt to save our club from exactly where we are today ….we tried..sadly you and others who thought of us as “ daft “ possibly felt it beneath you .. Well said Glen….the difference is … many of us , you particularly, knew of the illness in the club in the early days of V reign…nothing moved the fan base ….most chose to remain in denial ….it takes a public clanger, like this one, to get them to finally accept the levels of incompetence and neglect at Ewood .… Maybe the fan base has turned …. years too late …but, I will take the turn .

It’s not the fact that OBrien isn’t ours….that’s a minute detail to me .. What has sickened me to the core is PROOF of something many of us have known for years…this club is finished It’s got a playing staff that has regressed this season… it’s got a pitch not fit for purpose…it’s got a ground that is dirty and tired…it’s got a fan base dwindling by the day…..it’s got a coaching/ management structure of limited experience and guile….all these things we’ve known for months .….. …..but this incompetent, unprofessional, thoughtless, humiliating happening sums up what BRFC has become a Venky puppet ( a dead one at that ) run by individuals who aren’t good enough , who don’t care enough , aren’t strong enough, aren’t professional enough ….and we are expected to buy into this shit excuse of an organisation???
